Lean Legs & Abs Review

Lean Legs & Abs Review: This workout begins with a warmup and then about 15 minutes of standing leg work - high reps with very light weights. You will do squats with heels elevated, many variations of lunges, low pulsing lunges, and fire walker loop speed skaters. I broke my pink fire walker loop on the skaters! Then you use a chair for leg extensions, then hit the floor for outer and front thigh lifts with the fire walker loop (holy schmoly-these are painful). The song highlight for me was "She Bop" during fire walker leg lifts. This was a fun and fast-paced workout. I'm not sure how much use I will make of it primarily because my legs seem to respond better to heavy weight work, but I certainly see the value of it as it has the feeling of getting deep into the outer thigh muscles. I think that my legs will be sore tomorrow from all the reps! The Core work is all done in a supine position, including ankle grabbers, crunches, X sit-ups, bike maneuvers and weighted twists. Nothing fancy, just 10 minutes of solid core/ab work!

Thanks for the review, can"t wait to try this one. I do heavy weights for legs too, but love to change it up with a work out like this.

I snapped my green band doing the plie wide squat with lateral shoulder lift last week while doing Circuit Blast! It is a little shocking LOL

I did this as a finisher to a 3-hour mountainbike ride today, I needed core work and this was PERFECT, exactly what I needed for my sore legs. Love the music Cathe.
