jump exercise

Dear cathe, I was wondering about trying that jump exercise on the step at 12 inches. I tried the exercise, and wanted to target all of my legs, but felt most of the exercise in my calves. Am I doing the correct technigue? If not, can you demonstrate for me on cathe tv the proper way to do it? Thanks so much, and keep going with STS.
