I need help with an eating plan

I love Cathe workouts, and while I am quite a few pounds overweight - I can keep up with most of her workouts. I do her workouts 4-6 times per week. My problem is that I can't come up with an adequate eating plan.

Please share your eating plan.

Not Cathe here, but there is a "Clean Eating for Active Lifestyle" special issue of Oxygen Magazine that was on the bookshelves early this month. One of the Oxygen's writers, Tosca Reno, is also publishing the "Eat Clean Diet" book that's out in January. Both have sample diets and recipes.

I love Weight Watchers, I've lost 55 lbs doing their points program. Have you ever looked into it? It's a lifestyle change and I've learned so much from WW. It's something I'll be able to do my whole life and I will never eat the way I used to. It's worth checking out. Good luck.

I too, love Cathe workouts; they've really helped me get into shape. I also love the Burn the Fat program. Check out the website at www.burnthefat.com. It's a very no-nonsense approach to nutrition. Basically it's eating whole or clean foods. For example, one meal may be brown rice, chicken breast and broccoli. The key is eating small meals, 5-6x/day. My body fat has decreased from 26% down to 19% since being on the program.

Good luck!

Teri's program is similar to Body for Life - I'm doing it now - not to the letter, but pretty much to the program, my 53 year old girlfriend, who was not overweight to begin with (5'5, 133lbs) lost 8 pounds and reduced her body fat from 30 percent (surprising since she is a regular super exerciser) to 23 in 3 and a half months.....and with LESS pounding workouts, just more efficient ones....the steady state glucose levels from regular eating, makes you feel really good....

Terri,

How long have you been on the Burn the Fat program? I looked up the website and it looks very appealing for me to purchase, but I and a little hesitant about ordering an e-book. Did you have any problems downloading the 340 page book? Can you print it to hard copy? I'm not sure my computer will handle it . I'm in desperate need of a computer upgrade.

Thanks - Carolyn
