Remember those V8 commercials when the guys smacks himself alongside the head and says, "I coulda had a V8?" Well, there I was in Philly last weekend with y'all and I DID NOT HAVE A CHEESE STEAK!!!!! How lame was that???!!!

LOL! I was at Detroit Metro and bought one, and then sat there and said, wow, I shoulda waited till I got to Philly! Duh!
 
I did not have one either. I meant too. I did eat a philly pretzel. Not sure why they are called the philly pretzel. It was okay..

Auntie Anne, of the mall Soft Pretzel chain, is from Lanchaster, PA, just down the pike from Philly. Must be a regional thing. Speak up and enlighten us, you Philly natives!:9

I also wanted to see the Mummers Museum but could not because on Friday afternoon at 1PM Rt 95 North was a parking lot! I grew up watching the Mummers Parade on New Years day thanks to my father.

Honeybunch, I cannot believe you are back posting again and you still have your "Just do it" slogan (which I still don't like, by the way). What made you decide to post again? Are you still watching Dr. Phil and doing hundreds of thousands of push-ups?

"Just Do It" is the Nike slogan, and means nothing negative. I went on the Roadtrip and just decided to post again after I replied to Cathe's tearful post after we left. I still watch Dr. Phil, and just did 75 pushups - in a row- , working toward my goal of 100 for my 56th birthday in November.

Hey Honeybunch-
I made your chili recipe yesterday (it is pretty much the only chili recipe I use). My DH loves that one and I love it too because I still can't believe how easy it is! And, it is so good.
