More yoga and knee exercises today. Trying to figure out how to explain wave-particle duality in physics too. Hoo-rah. Thank God for Google and YouTube.
Annette: Get healthy!! Sending some get healthy prays to ya..I know I needed them over the weekend. My neck is still a bit sore. But, thank goodness it isn't producing that awful headache that I had..
Checking in to say hi..I am doing Muscle Max today after our school lessons are complete. Then this afternoon the kids have PE class...Talk to you later..
Lori, Once you figure it out, you can come over here and teach it to my girls. Getting back to your question... I'm going to massage school. This quarter I'm taking anatomy, massage theory and practice, and ethics and communications. It's three nights a week. On my nights off, I like to practice massaging. Once a week, I go to my massage therapist's house and practice massaging. She watches me and corrects my body mechanics and gives me additional pointers. I never realized how much of a workout it is to give a massage. Lots of lunges and horse stance. I thank Cathe and Tony for preparing me for it!!!
Annette, I hope you feel better soon!!!!
Kathy, My dh gets headaches from tight neck and shoulder muscles. He's a sprinkler fitter and works overhead. Get this. He doesn't like massages!!!! The one person in my life who could greatly benefit from it too!!! I think he's coming around to it though. I just can't go too deep. He's not ready for it. Hope your muscles relax soon. Maybe a heating pad would help.
Okay, I'm off to take my DRAMA Queen to the doctors for a sore throat. There goes my school day. I'm going to try and get math in before I leave for class tonight.
Wendy: I love messages..Hubby will do it sometimes. But, he does it a little too hard..My neck feels pretty good right now. I must have worked out a few links doing Muscle Max..
Hey, I actually DID find two interesting videos on wave particle duality (I love writing that, as if I know what the hell I'm talking about ), one of which was free:
It gets a little freaky at the end, but the particle vs. wave explanation is great. So much better than reading from our book. *snore* My husband digs physics, so I was going to rely on him, but I think this video is a good introduction.
