High Step Question

tetons

Yesterday I received my High Step and was so excited so I ran downstairs and plunked it on my risers to check it out, but... it does not fit snug on the risers. It moves around a little. Anyone else notice this and think it could be a problem? I doubt that is how it is supposed to be. Hmmmm... kinda bummed over here.

Let me know about yours.

Hi Nancy!

I received my topper yesterday, too. I noticed the same thing but when I stepped on it, it felt very sturdy...so much more than the wooden tall box I used to use and so so much more than the plastic FL the Firm is peddling now. I know I'll be able to do leg press/step ups with this one without the wobble and losing my balance. DH stepped up on it and he really liked it as well; very sturdy and he didn't lose his balance either.

I'm going to really enjoy this new equipment!

Edited to add: When I put a couple of risers under my step bench it has the same play as the topper but always feels very safe and never moves when doing step, etc. Did that make sense? (I don't think I've had enough coffee yet, lol) Take care!

Yes, I noticed the same thing. It still feels sturdy stepping on it. I think I made the mistake of ordering only one riser and using the four from my long step (which is not gym quality). I think Cathe uses six risers in ME.

Glad to hear it is not only mine. I happened upon the high step at http://www.fwonline.com/ and noticed it was cheaper! $7 for the step plus shipping was a little cheaper too. Bummer... next time I will have to shop around a little more I guess.

Life is too short to complain so I'd better just shut up!
