hehe . I did one of cathes easier leg workouts and still got doms

I did her lower body premix. The exercises are fairly simple and not long. No static or explosive lunge type of exercises. I used weight but not 5,000 pounds. I'm not a wimp geesh.I think i'll find another board to post at. I 'm not good enough to post with the Super super duper advanced.

I wasn't trying to insult you. I was actually trying to make you feel better about being sore. It is difficult to relay things on the internet sometimes. But lifting "heavy" is relative to the individual who is lifting. So what is heavy for one is not for another. That doesn't mean you're not working hard. I apologize for upsetting you- that's not what I was trying to do.

Catherine, I totally agree with with you that PLB is not "easy". In fact, I think of it as pretty tough. I think most people who do PLB for the first time should expect to have DOMS.

ETA: and I certainly didn't see anything even slightly insulting in your post :)

PLB is one of my favorites Cathe lower-body workouts (used to be #1, then along came Gym Styles, which vied for that spot, then I reaquired CTX and Leaner Legs is in the running, then Butts and Guts came along and, you guessed it, it's another contender!). Even without the ball work, it's a very balanced workout, with just the exercises we need to work that area. I bought a second Troy Lite barbell just for this workout, so I wouldn't have to do so much changing of weights (the only gripe I have about this workout is that there isn't enough time between sets for my tastes...or even for me to change weights safely...but I just add longer breaks, which allows for the use of heavier weights as well).

I agree. The tone of the response to your post is much harsher, though.

RE: hehe . I did one of cathes easier leg workouts and ...

I find Pyramid Lower Body awesome, challenging, and it goes by so fast, which I totally love!!! I am doing the '05 Rock Bottoms rotation, and I did this workout yesterday.
It is a complete workout, hard as hell, if you use enough weight,, or frankly, even if you do not!:)

Don't worry all, no one's post was rude, or anything. In my experience, we are all in this together right? Which is the reason I even post here, to chat with women with the same goals, fitness and otherwise. :)

I don't think we are all in this together because we have different fitness levels and goals. Also, everyone has thier own little association on here. It's a great workout though!

Hi Tneah,
I agree - that is also why I read and post here. We all have the same goal -- to exercise. Yes of course everyone has different fitness levels, however the overall general goal is for physical fitness.

Also - I don't think that Catherine's post was rude in any way -- she was stating that it isn't an easy workout and trying to make the original poster feel better.

I am not in any "association" on this board and am not sure what is meant by this. Perhaps someone is feeling a little sensitive, it sounds like noone can say anything right.

Yeah,I think this is about as far as this thread needs to go!
That is what I meant about we are all in this together.
You know how Cathe says this during the grueling Drill Max #5 cardio blast?:)
That is how I meant it, we all want to exercise, keep fit, for whatever reason right? And there are people here who have been members for all long time, cool, I am pretty new, but have received support and helpful advice!

Okay everyone, here's to a great week of workouts!!!:+
