Has anyone tried Turbulence Training?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has tried Turbulence Training and if so what do you think of the program? Which TT workouts do you like the best? Thanks for any information. :)

Do you read Skwigg's blog? She's a big fan of TT. I also know that is the workout used for the cast members of the Movie 300.
I'm doing Red Carpet Ready right now(thanks to Skwigg:7 ), I may try TT after after....unless Cathe's STS system is released!

Cynthia,

Thanks for the info. I read Swigg's blog on occasion and have downloaded the free tt workouts. I have tried some and like them but haven't done an exclusive TT rotation. Just wondering if anyone has. How do you like Red Carpet Ready? Did you purchase the program?

I just purchased it and Warped Speed Fat Loss by Alwyn Cosgrove. Haven't had time to look at it all yet. Alwyn's new program looks especially enticing.

I'll keep you posted.

I recently bought Red Carpet Ready, but haven't started it yet. I've been doing the Action Hero Circuits off of Valerie Water's Blog and let me tell you, I haven't been this sore for a while. They ARE EXCELLENT.

Check them out at www.valeriewaters.com

it takes A LOT for me to get sore and these seem to work your core fantastically. Of course, I use much heavier weight than she suggests.....the mountain climbers with feet on Gliding Discs and hands on med ball seem to really work your core. Love that move. Try it!

Yes, I purchased the Red Carpet program and I'm thrilled with the program! It is very HARD! I am on week two of the first 2 circuits, and still getting somewhat queazy half way through. The sweat just pours out of me. She gives 2 circuits to rotate for the first 3 weeks, then another 2 circuits for rotation weeks 4-6.

I had a wedding to go to 2 weeks after I purchased the RCR program and was still working on the P90x rotation, but took Valerie's diet advice removing all starchy carbs a week before a big event. I was losing a pound a day the entire week! I dropped 7lbs in one week. My calories were very low with a good amount of fat(9x's my bodyweight). I have since bumped my calories back up and kept the weight off with her circuit training. I plan to drop the starchy carbs a week before my vacation.

I too, use heavier weights than she suggest. I also added pull-ups to her RCR circuits. I now see she has heavier weight and pull-ups in the circuits she prescribed on MWA forum.
I love her style of training!!

Sunny Delite LOVES TT!

C'mon over to the Cheetah thread and post your question in there and I am sure she'll respond as soon as she can!:)

Thanks Cynthia, Lora & Wendy for the info and suggestions! :)

I am excited to hear about Valerie Waters. I love a program that is going to whoop my butt! I'll start the free ones on her blog and go from there.

Hi Shirl,

I saw your post in the cheetah thread however decided to answer you here. I absolutely love TT! he has a different rotation every month and so far i have loved them all! the main focus is fatloss without muscle loss. so you will usually do 3 full body workouts followed by either HIIT or intervals (cardio). they are fast and very effective IMO.

let me know if you have any other questions..;o)

enjoy!

cynthia- would you mind posting the link to the MWA forum you mentioned? thanks!

Thanks sunnydelite!

Do you have any favotite rotations? Have you incorporated kettlebells with the rotations? Thanks again! :)

Oh man!! these all sound so great! I'll have to save the ideas for post-partum! Between thses and STS I'll be whooped back into shape in no time!

shirl- i only have the monthly plan so i do the plan craig puts out. so far i have loved them all. my all time favorite would be the circuits rotation. i believe it was the one for the month of mar or april. yes he does incorporate kb's into the rotations. which is one of the many reasons i love TT. a little bit of everything! he actually just had a kettlebell/bodyweight rotation posted. i haven't done it yet but it looks killer}(

Are these e-books? Just can't wrap my mind around them yet as to what they are. I guess I'm confused a little because of the e-book BFFM. I thought this was the book to get, now TT is out and I'm confused.

I've skimmed through the add of TT and the difference (that I can see) is using interval training cardio. Am I missing the point here? I don't want to not open my mind and loose something great, but I also don't want to be scammed.

Is this a good e-book or is BFFM just as good?

Confused...a little,

Janie

The idea is to die young as late as possible.
