OMG! Were you all checking your calendars (or did you just laugh at me!) I need to sell my house FAST so I can get off this roller coaster! Here's my post for today, APRIL 25 (not April 26)! (SORRY!)

MAX DU JOUR: GS BSB. I didn't get up early enough to give this workout justice so I'll grind it out after work. All the better, my back's still moaning.

Kim, not to worry. Where I live in Ohio we got about 12 inches of SNOW this weekend, so I think time is totally off kilter in general!
Spring, anyone?

Saturday - GS Legs and ab hits.
Sunday - Imax 3 and ab hits.
Today - GS BSB and ab hits.

Today was HSC. I never seem to get in a workout over the weekend. Just love to stay in bed a little longer than during the week. I guess working out on the weekend will be my goal for this year.

Good Morning Ladies , Ok we seem to be better ....For now ...LOL Boy its really going around though ... So Today I'm just going on a 4 mile walk . I might make this my first rest/recovery week in like 16 months !!!!If I do I will still do stuff like my walks / core max and stretch max . I'm just feeling like I need to pamper myself alittle bit, Back at the Hardcore Rotation Next week !!I soooo hate that Strep throat ...Really does a number on me and the Family !!!! Nasty stuff !!!Its haunted me my hole life !!!!..I will still check in ,besides I could change my mind and be back at the Hardcore by nap time !!! LOL. Have great days everyone !!!:) :)
 
Hi everyone!
I didn't check in yesterday since we had high winds that took some trees and power lines down. Had to order sausage pizza for dinner... bummer (hahaha). I did go for a three mile run though. I enjoyed running in the wind!

Mary, I hope you are feeling better.

Kim, Did you get an offer on your house from that couple?

Nicole, it sounds like we have similar fitness goals. I don't want to loose weight, just shave a little fat off the 'ol butt and gut.

Beverly, good for you doing those levitation holds. I can do a couple, but it's still really tough.

Conni, A foot of snow! I can’t imagine. I think Spring is here to stay in my area. (I hope).

Elaine, sometimes weekend are harder that weekdays to schedule workouts. I spent a half hour this weekend doing my jog and that's it.

GS Legs standing
Inserted: leg extensions, hamstring curls and leg press with heavy weight, four sets each.
Picked up with GS Legs, floorwork.

you are doing a GREAT JOB with starting this thread!! Who cares if you are off by a day:7 To be honest I probably would'nt have even noticed!! LOL Anyways THANKS I know how busy you are with trying to sell your house. Hope you sell it soon!! My subdivison is doing a garage sale on fri/sat so guess what I think I am going join in. FUN, FUN, but maybe it will get me motivated to get some junk out of the house and organized some:D

12 inchs :eek: We (Indiana) got some snow I was so bummed!! It was a nasty weekend!! I hate the cold! GIVE me heat anyday!!

Mary I think it is a Good idea about a recovery/week. You got me thinking........ I think I am going to do a little less intensity for the next week or two. (I have been doing the hardcore for 2 1/2 months) I think I do some of my firms.!

Elaine I took a rest day yesterday too :7 Because I felt like it and I was having a lazy day, and ya know what it felt sooooooo..... good!! LOL

Susan won't it be nice to see the layer GONE!!:7 I mentioned above that I am going to change my routine up a bit. I am going to try one that stephanie posted up at ya ya's I guess LOTs of people have had sucess with it. So I thought I would give it a whirl. My body is feeling like it needs a change.

I look forward what Cathe posts for May's rotation. Maybe I'll switch from a month of strength building to muscle endurance.

Hey everybody!

Thanks for being so supportive and good-humored about me getting the "check-in post" started every morning. I did GS BSB when I got home from work, LATE! I hate that! I'm glad I did it in the afternoon because I have just enough agitation going on right now to lift a little heavier. I was right on the fence....am I gonna do this workout or just blow it off? I feel so much better emotionally since I did it!

To those of you who have inquired about our house, unfortunately, we haven't been notified of any formal offers. We actually already have another house but the present owners are moving out of state (they're chasing their first born grandchild -- he's just 2 months old! Isn't that great?!). They aren't going to be finished tying up all their details until the end of June. So we have a little time...

Conni, if I had snow on top of everything else, I woulda sat in corner and cried today! It's chilly here but at least it ain't snowin' !!

Well, have a good night everyone. I've seen some links posted about beginner's running routines so I'm going to check them out. I posted this question on the VIDEO board: do any of you have an opinion about the CTX DVD? It's $89. and people are raving about Leaner Legs. Any feedback? $89. is a lot of money for a DVD so I'm going to "exercise" (ha ha) some restraint and read some reviews and check out some previews before I buy. Thanks in advance for anything you can share.

Hi Kim,

When I first "discovered" Cathe, it was through Collage's brochure. Prior to that, I had always belonged to a gym. I purchased Five videos. Lucky, two were Cathe. MIC and MIS. It was a while before wanting more and the next Collage mailing I ordered the PS series. Since that time, we had a home computer. I logged onto here, but did not register for years later. I kept reading about all the great benefits of this and that w/o. SO, I was working my way backwards to Cathe's videos.
It was only last summer I got the CTX series. I do like LL a lot. But I have a hard time figuring our where to put the other w/o's in. They are short. Short cardio, short endurance weight lifting.
They are good if you don't have a lot of time, but for me, I would rather do one or the other. Meaning do either cardio or weights.
I can count on one hand the times I've used them. They are good, but kind of dated. My heart rate does not go up during the kickbox.That one is very easy to me.
If you have the money, I do feel it’s a cornerstone series for Cathe since she did do an excellent job making short w/o that are intense.
They do make good "add ons" to other w/o's.
If you want more details on what each w/o is I can let you know.

I would like more detail and I bet Kim would too. I want the leaner legs dvd too bad we cant just order it alone. I did PUB and treadmill jog today. Iss it ok to post that here? Since it isnt HC rotation.
