I can't believe I am the first one today!

I got my yoga in last night. It was so nice. I have not been staying hydrated, so doing that cardio yesterday, and still not drinking enough, has made me a tad bloated today. No biggie. I also had a diet soda after 8 with my salad. Late dinner for me. I am definately doing some total body, or atleast a great UB today. I should throw in a little cardio too.

Meg-Good job on your WOs and for having the right attitude about it. I am glad you made time for yoga instead of trying to come back extra hard to make up for what you missed. I have done more yoga lately just b/c that's what DH wants to do now and it makes him feel better. He used to do yoga with me a long time ago but got burnt out on it and just kinda' gave up on exercise all together. I can't wait to hear your take on some of the new workouts you've gotten. Don't forget to give us the scoop along the way!

Morning Ladies -

Geez - I couldn't get my contacts in my eyes for nothing! I was upstairs for 20 minutes trying to get them in. I don't know what I started doing wrong all of sudden. Since they are bifocals....they are really big. I just started having this problem. Anyone that wear contacts.....do you have a clue what I could be doing wrong all of a sudden? I think it might have something to do with the direction my eye is looking??

This morning I did SWAT Weightloss workout, SWAT Toning workout, and SWAT Abs & Core workout. I added my own warm up and stretch (since they don't have them) and it took me 1 hour and 30 minutes and I burned about 370 caloreies....although still not sure if that's correct. I can't get my resting heartrate set correctly......as my resting heartrate is reading a bit high the last couple of days (I know I think I'm slightly overtrained). I didn't add any extra cardio today. I also did Baron Baptiste's Journey into Poweer Yoga Volume 2 for 45 minutes.

My DH is home today and he's got me doing a project around the house so I don't think I'll be as chatty as usual. Tommorrow I have an early job interview at Coca Cola. I'm nervous cuz I haven't been getting up early enough.........so tomorrow's workout will be cut short.

Good morning Maniacs! This morning I did the Press Play workout from Cardio Coach. Had a great workout but was dying by the end of it! Love the challenges in this but wish there were more sprinting. There is only one sprint challenge and there are 5 challenges in this workout.

Workout was 1.14 was in my zone for 59 minutes and burned 411 calories. Travelled 4.02 miles.

I really need to do something about my legs, they just are not as tight and defined as I like. I'm going back to doing Cathe's leg workouts on leg day and going lighter (God help me) with my weights. I just need to thin them down and lifting heavy with my lower body obviously isn't doing it. I really thought doing all this treadmill work would thin my legs out a bit but if anything it has made them larger!

Hope you all have great workouts! This evening I have to help my mom with Confirmation dinner again at the church. My yearly service to the Catholic faith. Oy!
 
Deb - what is considered light and heavy with legs? I'm trying to figure out if my legs are getting bigger from all of this leg work too.

I'm so excited about Cathe's Road Trip. I want to go so bad! Anyone else wanting to go? I havent been on here in a couple days so Sat went to the gym did the eliptical machine for 40 min then did some chest shoulders and back. Yesterday was my rest day:)Getting ready to workout cant decide which one yet but will let you know:)

Okay, I started a post, but I was cut off in the middle of it, so here I go again.....

I did CTX power circuit this morning. After being sick and not w/o consistently, it kicked my butt! I think I will stick with CTX all week. I w/o in the morning before my kids wake up. (usually I am interrupted with a 2 year old demanding juice) Then, it is make breakfast, get kids dressed, brushed, and out the door. Pretty hectic, but we make it!

I have to ask all of you, well, first of all tell you all how awesome you look!!!! I know what your w/o's are since most of you post them, but what do your daily diets consist of? (if you don't mind me asking!)

Well, I am off to wal-mart and the dry cleaners. My stupid dog peed in my bed last night!!!! (GROSS) So, now my comforter needs dry cleaned and my dog is in her cage at night! I don't know why dogs think they can squat and go where ever they please, but it really pi$$es me off! She had the nerve to pee and lay down in another spot and go to sleep. I crawled into bed directly on a wet spot!!! I could have killed that dog (not really, but you know what I mean!) So, I better get a shower and get going!

Sorry to hear about your dog doing that. My FIL's dog peed on my couch last week. Could have just went on the floor instead as I could have cleaned it up better off the hardwood, but NO..had to be on couch. And yeah, I sat right on the pee myself too so I know how you must feel!

My diet? Well seems good, but I have gained so go figure.

Hi all,

Lora, someone told me a trick for contacts - When putting them in your eye, just barely touch it to your eyeball. It will then adhere to the eyeball. If you press too hard, it will stay on your finger.

Lora- I wear contacts and sometimes have problems with them. Right now they all feel sandy and scratchy.

Hi Netta! Miss ya!

Char and Sara- that sucks about the dog pee! One night my son had crawled in my bed while we were sleeping and I woke up to a warm sensation all over my leg! Not pleasant! I think all pee is the worst!

Lora- that is good advice from Netta about your contacts. I usually put a drop of the saline solution right on the contact before I put it in so that the liquid helps "grab" your eye so it doesn't stick to your finger. I just hate how sometimes I pinch my eyeball when taking them out! ouch!

Deb- Running did help with my legs. Really helped my calves. I am sure running with more endurance leg work should help. I think B&G has helped me tremendously. I know you aren't a huge fan of that one. L&G is fun too.

Dallys- yeah, it was really nice. I loved the inversion part. I did so well with it. I couldn't believe it. A year ago I couldn't lift my butt off the floor!

Just a quick post here. Yesterday I ended up getting about 10 minutes of Yoga Quickie w/ Eionn Finn then we had company and had to go pick up our granddaughters. There parents couldn't get out of DC yesterday so Wont be in till after midnight tonight. I took them to school this morning. They will be spending the night tonight as well. I went to bed and woke after about 30 min and looked at the clock all night. So I think I am going to try a nap and see if I can get a short workout in before I have to run out the door again. Just no energy here:)It was supposed to be day one of phase 3 of my rotation which has lots of jumping and endurance to it. I will see, I may postpone that till tomorrow. BBL

Randi I love lomax...but I never thought of it as easy on my knees. Makes me want to do it!

Sara...I read somewhere that when a dog pees on your bed...he is marking his territory???? Something going on in that bed perhaps???
I would get one of those mattress protectors until you get it figured out though.

Debbie...I think lightening up the weights should do it for you...higher reps with lower weight is what I always remember. also, it seems if I do step 4 times a week my legs bulk up...so I don't anymore.

Contacts...Lora..I find I have to dry my finger really well. Also I put the contact in low and then look down to remove the air bubble.

Hi to everyone, I have a really busy day and boys tonight so I doubt I will be back....but I plan to do chest tri P90x and abs with the elliptical LOL, high hopes I know.

Char...I just read you had to rip a dress off...!!! you were in the junior department weren't you? trying on smalls in the juniors come on admit it!!!! LOL

Girl, that is all I wear is junior stuff, but sometimes they make some of the dresses, tops for anorexic girls, I think. Gosh.
