I can’t believe it’s January already. I hope you all had a safe and wonderful start into 2026. Mine was quiet.

I will do a short Pilates class shortly.

Today I just did a arm workout by Caroline. Maybe I will try CD again and see how I feel. does she have a rotation?

Happy New Year my friends! I am really looking forward to this year in a way, but I do know that my parents my leave this earth this year and that is a daunting thought. But it is in God's hands so I am going to do what I can do for them and pray a lot to the Lord.

Today I woke up early and got in a great workout to start the New Year off right. I did Cathe's STS Meso 2 Disc #15 Back and Biceps and did really well with the weights. I was curling 17's for Bicep curls and that amazed me since I have not had a lot of workouts in the past two months. I woke up with a sore right shoulder, I have to change the way I sleep, or this will be an ongoing problem for me. If I sleep on my back my knees and low back hurt even with a pillow under my knees. I can't win.

Belinda, great job on the workout today, it sure beats a hangover that a lot of people will be dealing with today.

Roselyn, I am glad your stress level about the mammogram is going down a little. Nice job on the Caroline arm workout!

I hope you all have a great day. I will be going to visit my parents on Saturday, I hope to get in one more weight workout this week.

I did also 2 hours zoom live belly dancing this morning. The 2nd one was a sweat fest, I got lose, lol. Next week we are learning to us finger cymbals—aka zills. I had to order zills, lol. Can‘t wait for them to come. I need to order a sword for dancing too. Yikes.

Diane - it wasn‘t a Ring door. It was the thermostat from my heating system. We never had a problem with the Nest thermostat. I had to order one Amazon, I couldn’t find the right one anywhere in my area. Should have ordered right away, it would have saved me a lot of running around for nothing. Lessons learned. Great job with your workout.

Jolie - I went to bed at 9 pm. When I inject MTX, I am out afterwards. Can‘t drink on those meds. Yes, it beats hangover, lol. So sorry about your parents :(

Roselyn - any time, girl! Caroline does have rotations. Which one are you looking for? You can google it if you do her stuff on YT.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026 EVERYONE!! I was going to workout yesterday but just didn't have it in me!! It's hard to believe we are 26 years into the Millennium. Doesn't seem possible.

This morning I did Iron #3 - 30 minute Glute workout - Dumbbell Lower Body. Wow, what a workout!! My ass is killing me already!!! I am loving these workouts. Not sure why this time around is so different from the first time I tried her.

1 minute each exercise, 30 seconds rest.

Abduction w/Band: Pink Band

Wow! Burner for sure. I'm still sore from the leg workout I did on Tuesday.

I also did a little bit of RAW Box 2 Rock 2026. This was just ok, I just wanted to work the lactid acid out of my legs so I did about half of it. It was just ok.

Total workout time was 61 minutes, burned 255 calories and HR was 95/147.

Great job with your workouts everyone!! I don't have time for personals, I have so much to do today. But I hope you are enjoying your first few days of 2026 and I hope you all have a great year!!

Belinda, good job on STS 2 Lower Body and pilates today. We had to order from Amazon when the Nest doorbell died. They tried Lowes because they showed them on their website, but not carried in the store. I knew you meant thermostat. We still have our Nest Thermostat, but it seems like it is programmed to go for a lower temperature when it does not spot movement in the house. I go by and wave my hand in front of it and it will cut in. It is kind of weird. My dil says hers does the same thing.

Debbie, great job on Iron #3 Glute workout lower body today. I did not feel much like working out yesterday, but did get some movement in to loosen up. I am sorry Raw Box to Rock 2026 was just okay. Maybe when you do the entire workout you will like it more.

Roselyn, nice work on Chest and Back. The little ones grow so fast. We are getting a second great grandchild this month. Enjoy the birthday celebration.

Today I did OnDemand (yesterday‘s live dance) Cardio Belly Blast. It was a blast.

Diane - the Nest thermostat came like an hour ago, it‘s charging now. They do believe it‘s a wire that isn‘t working even with the new thermostat. We have to get someone to come out next week whoever installed the thermostat in the first place. Nice job with Lauren‘s workouts.

Roselyn - happy birthday to your grandson. I can‘t believe he is already turning 3.

Debbie - great job on your workout. How is the kitchen coming along?

Today I wanted to do something a bit different for a workout, I did Cathe's STS 2.0 Upper body workout #1. I really liked this workout because it is slow and controlled and I can then use heavy weights. I put on some jeans the other day and boy oh boy are they tight! Time to get the junk out of the house and get back to clean eating. Why do I do this to myself every holiday lately? I am meal prepping for the week today, Greek bowls with ground turkey, veggies, hummus and rice. We have had so much rain in the CA the past two weeks, today will be the last of it for the next two weeks!

My mom is doing so well that I want to her to be moved home with a caregiver to assist her during the day. My dad is not too happy about that because if the cost, but she is getting depressed in the nursing home. I told them to spend their money on this not leave this earth with money in the bank!

Finally getting started for the year spent the week after Christmas with a sinus infection just now getting to where I am not coughing so antibiotic is doing its job. I did a StudioSweat Spin haven’t used my bike in a long time.
 
Yesterday I did Senior Shape with Lauren Christmas Cardio 20 minutes and a Dance and Cardio Kickboxing workout 24 minutes, total 44 minutes, 296 calories, heart rate134/161 and followed it with her Chair yoga for Upper Body, strength, mobility, stretch 20 minutes, 45 calories. This did not seem like yoga since she did light weight upper body moves, I really did not need and ended with some stretches. Total time 64 minutes, 341 calories.

Belinda, good job on the Cardio Blast. I hope you get the wiring fixed soon.

Jolie, nice work on STS 2.0 Upper Body. I ate a lot more junk than usual over the holidays. I am getting back on track. We went out twice this weekend, and I got salmon with asparagus one meal and the other grilled chicken and broccoli. I can understand your mother being depressed in a care environment. I have been inside a couple visiting friends and I would not want to be there.
 
Hi all! Up at 4:30 again now, my break is over but I had a GREAT one and really got a lot done. So I'm sort of happy to be back.

This morning at the butt crack of dawn I did Iron #4 - 30 minute Full Body Workout. This was a circuit workout and did the circuit 3 times. Tough. I ended up adding weight with the 3rd set because on some exercises it felt too easy. I did one of Kelly's warmups.

40 seconds on/20 seconds off

Bent Over Rows: 15's/15's/20's
Static Lunges: 15's
Deadlifts: 20's
Chest Press: 20's/20's/25's
Push Press: 15's
Elevated Squats: 15's
Rear Step Lunges: 15's

Repeat 2 more times.

Finisher - Ok, I did not do this, way too dangerous for my upper back/neck. I ended up getting on my Max Trainer and just working my legs abit while she did the finisher. This is the Finisher:

Maker! (this was a combo mountain climber, push up, overhead press - totally insane!)

Loving this series so far. Workout was 44 minutes, burned 196 calories, HR 100/133. I sure can't get my HR up with these. Even this one which was almost one exercise to the next. Oh well, I know I am burning major calories afterwards.

No time for personals but great job with your workouts this weekend!! Kicking butt!! I'm looking to lose at least 7# if not 10#. I am tightening up my diet and getting in some kick ass workouts. Fingers crossed.
