Hard core fitness maniacs November 2025

Today I walked the pup for 3 miles. I posted by accident on the October thread the past few days of what I did for my workouts.
Friday- long walk
Saturday- P90X Chest and Back
Sunday- Walk uphill on treadmill with weighted vest 70 minutes, I slept so deep and sound last night but I am tired today.

No workout today. I ended up on the phone half of the day. Hopefully I can work out tomorrow.

Roselyn, good job on Saturday's cardio and Biceps, Triceps and Back yesterday.

Belinda, nice work on Pilates workout and the walk outside.

Jolie, nice work on the walks and P90X Chest and Back and the treadmill walk this weekend.
 
Today I had an excellent workout. I did P90X Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and went heavy with the weights. I like this workout program because it seems to go by quickly and the rests are not too long in between sets either. Also, there is no set reps, do what you want with the weight that you chose to use. I am walking the pup two miles this afternoon.

Today I did CDorner Halloween Cardio all standing workout, 37 minutes, 246 calories, heart rate 134/160, 4,49 steps. I followed it with CDorner 22 minute barre inspired arms and Jessica Valant No Crunch Abs, with a stretch, 41 minutes. ( I did not separate these as my battery on my watch kept giving me warnings. I did get through it though). Total time 78 minutes, 439 calories. The Barre arms was upper body, endurance with light or no weight. I used 2# like Chris.

Jolie, great job on P90X Chest shoulders and triceps with heavy weights. I hope the walk with your dog went well this afternoon.
 
Evening,

2 hours live dancing, pilates mobility for the hips and walk today.Today is Sadie‘s 7th birthday!

I have a doctors appointment on Friday. I will try to get most of my workouts done before Friday.

Roselyn - thanks for starting us off this month. I totally forgot :( Sorry!

Diane - great job on the Halloween cardio + bare arms and no crunch abs. Those 2 # burn like hell if you do high reps.

Jolie - great job on P90X CST.

Today was back and biceps for me tomorrow maybe cardio then we leave until Sunday. We’re taking my mother-in-law’s ashes back home to Omaha and having her funeral. It’s been a month so it’s time my husband needs to move on. It’s hard when you haven’t said the final goodbye.
 
Evening,

Today was foam roller workout and a nice walk outside. It was beautiful today.

Today I did CDorner Step #499 fewer breakdowns, 32 minutes, 181 calories, heart rate 119/147. I should have got extra calories working out with my dog. He wanted to step on the bench too. I then did Jessica Valent scoliosis pilates/stretch skipped the crunches and stopped 11 minutes before finished because my husband was taking me out to eat. This was 37 minutes, 81 calories. Total time 69 minutes, 262 calories.

Belinda, nice work on the dance, pilates mobility, and walk yesterday and today's foam roller workout and walk. Was the foam roller workout one from your pilates class?

Roselyn, good job on back and biceps. Prayers for you and your husband.
 
Diane - great job on the step and Pilates stretch. LOL, about your husband. The foam roller workout is from my Pilates On Demand. It‘s a good one.

Today I did CDorner Hiit Style Dance Cardio workout that she did today, 44 minutes, 244 calories, heart rate 123/154, 3,568 steps. This was a combo timed workout segments ending with plank with knee drops and side bends. Nothing was real high impact. I then did Jessica Valant Pilates for osteoporosis safe no twists workout, 14 minutes, 36 calories. Total time 58 minutes 280 calories.
 
Wednesday I walked the pup 4 miles.
Thursday I took a rest day, first on for the week
Today- I will walk the dog for 4 miles and then I plan on riding my spin bike while watching tv this evening.

I got a vibration plate the other day to help drain my Lymphatic system and I have to say that I love it. It gets the blood flowing through out my entire body and it really loosens up the muscles.

Belinda, great job on the workouts and walks this week. Happy Birthday Sadie.

Diane Sue, way to go on the workouts, you are killing it! I do not do any high impact workouts anymore, my back could never do it LOL!

Roselyn, prayers for your family and especially your husband while you lay his mother to rest in Omaha.

Have a wonderful day. Tomorrow is a rest day because I am meeting my parents for breakfast and taking them a lot of food to have in their freezer.

I did a OnDemand dance workout. That‘s all I had energy for, I am up since 2:30 am.

Diane - great job on your workout, glad it wasn‘t very high impact.

Debbie - I haven‘t seen Debbie posting all week, than I remember she is taking a week off. I hope you enjoy your week off.

Jolie - nice job on your workouts. It‘s so cold here today, no walks. Thank you about Sadie.

Today I did Caroline Jordan Osteoporosis exercises to strengthen bone Total Body 25 minutes, 103 calories followed by her Lower Body osteoporosis strength 12 minutes, 47 calories. She used small weights even though she had 3 sets. I used 10# dumbbells for everything except lateral raises and overhead press and I used 8# dumbbells. She said to go heavier if you thought it was too easy. Total time was 37 minutes, 150 calories. I did some stretching on my own afterward.

Jolie, good job on good job on getting in the dog walks. I hope you enjoyed the ride on the spin bike. I wonder if the vibration plate is the same thing as what Debbie mentioned Kelly Coffey using on some workouts. I really have not looked.

Belinda, nice work getting in the OnDemand dance workout. I bet you are tired. I probably would not have done anything myself. I missed Sadie's birthday. How old was she when you got her?

Pilates abs with weights and walk outside. I also did a lot of clean max today.

Diane - great job on Caroline Jordan Osteoporosis exercises to strengthen bone Total Body plus Lower Body. We adopted Sadie when she was 2 years, 10 months old. I needed to move my legs after sitting in the car for over 8 hours. I was dead afterwards, lol.

Today I did CDorner Stability Ball glutes, legs, and abs for strength, 30 minutes, 130 calories, heart rate 103/134. I used 10# dumbbells for the weighted portions. Everything was done with 3 1 minute timed move progressions, like 3 variations on wall squats with the dumbbells and stability ball, 3 sets of moves like bear using the ball, bird dog with ball. My dog thought we were supposed to be playing with the ball.
I finished with CDorner lower stretch from her challenge and Jessica Valance neck stretch for neck pain, 22 minutes, 38 calories. Total time was 52 minutes, 168 calories.

Belinda, nice work on Pilates Abs with weights and walk outside. Riding in a car does limit movement and I usually dread it. The dance was probably helpful.

I couldn‘t log on earlier. My phone did the newest update on my iPhone, afterwards nothing was working. I couldn‘t open anything. I had to spend 2 hours on the phone with Apple. It‘s all good now. Today I walked outside and did a Pilates balance/hips. I love doing those hip workouts. My hip is so tight.

Diane - great job with your lower body ball workout. That‘s funny your dog wanted to play, lol.

I'm back, had a great week of rest - wish it could last longer. I still didn't feel like working out much. I think the early mornings are starting to get to me.

So I was so excited to try RAW Box & Pump 9 - the trailer Kelly released had Huey Lewis music in it so of course I assumed it would be 80's music. Nope! No such luck, it was crappy music and honestly didn't even make me want to do it. I was also not very impressed with the exercises she chose. The boxing wasn't stellar either. I don't see myself doing this one too often if at all again. It was 50 minutes but I had to stop early due to time. This is how it went:

1 minute each exercise and boxing segments:

(this felt dangerous to me. My knees did not like the way she did the lunges)

(this also felt dangerous to me. It was hard doing a kickback while in a plie stance.)

(another one that felt unsafe to do. The front raises were very hard for me. I felt it in the neck and upper back. Stopped early and did Upright Rows the 2nd time around)

Workout was 46 minutes, burned 331 calories, HR 127/174.

So bummed about this workout, I was really looking forward to it. Maybe if I do it a few more times with lighter weights it will be ok but the music was a big turn off.

Great workouts everyone! You all had a great week!! Glad to be back, just wish I didn't have to workout so early. It is killing me. :( Ok, no more complaining. LOL!
