I'm back, had a great week of rest - wish it could last longer. I still didn't feel like working out much. I think the early mornings are starting to get to me.
So I was so excited to try
RAW Box & Pump 9 - the trailer Kelly released had Huey Lewis music in it so of course I assumed it would be 80's music. Nope! No such luck, it was crappy music and honestly didn't even make me want to do it. I was also not very impressed with the exercises she chose. The boxing wasn't stellar either. I don't see myself doing this one too often if at all again. It was 50 minutes but I had to stop early due to time. This is how it went:
1 minute each exercise and boxing segments:

Lunge side to side/Peck Dec: 8's
Front Chest Raise: 8's

(this felt dangerous to me. My knees did not like the way she did the lunges)

Alternate Kickbacks: 8's

(this also felt dangerous to me. It was hard doing a kickback while in a plie stance.)

Squat/Front Raise/Lateral Raise: 8's (she uses 10's which is crazy)
Upright Rows: 10's

Squat/Front Raise/Lateral Raise: 8's
(another one that felt unsafe to do. The front raises were very hard for me. I felt it in the neck and upper back. Stopped early and did Upright Rows the 2nd time around)

Workout was 46 minutes, burned 331 calories, HR 127/174.
So bummed about this workout, I was really looking forward to it. Maybe if I do it a few more times with lighter weights it will be ok but the music was a big turn off.
Great workouts everyone! You all had a great week!! Glad to be back, just wish I didn't have to workout so early. It is killing me.

Ok, no more complaining. LOL!
