Guy goes off on Dell Support. ...Not work safe

oh my- what a mad pussycat. hehe. i can understand his exasperation... automated, customer service- then he probably got switched around from agent to agent- and finally he has someone to help him and he asks for his e.mail address. information collecting when he just wanted to turn off his dell computer. he could use some anger management however. that probably took a year off his heart.

speaking of mad pussycats:

I don't care how long he'd been on hold or how many times he'd gone through their crappy automated system---there is NO excuse for behavior like that. I applaud the Dell guy for his reaction. He was awesome keeping his cool like that!

Having worked in customer service all my life and been subjected to morons like that guy, I feel for the Dell technician. That was just disgusting behavior.

Well, i laughed my butt off only because i was on once with dell for 3 days on chat. It was serial #. Computer had to be registered under me. 50 questions and i just needed back up cd due to a bad virus which was on the hard drive. It was partitioned on to another part of the hard drive. Took me 3 days to get this out of them and most of the info was on the computer that i could not get into.
It was like i am on the other one. DUH.....It is down ....
It was like who would put the back up on the hard disk. What if the hard disk crashes??? Then they would send you a new Hard drive and disks 2 weeks wait...
There is no excuse for the cousing though.. Not that much...

Although there are times....

That is pretty disgusting behavior on the customer's part. However, I have a Dell and their customer service is the pits. I've been on terminal hold before, through thousands of automated endless questions, only to be connected to someone IN INDIA when I was finally connected to a human, only I couldn't understand a thing she said!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL for this reason. The computer has been a good one so far but when things go wrong, you need customer service you can rely on and they definitely don't have it.
