GoodMorning ladies,
Well, I have to say that my new favorite mag is FitnessRx.I think I may have already posted that I thought it was awesome. If you haven't picked up a copy you really should.I just wanted to share something that I read in there, some of this we know, some of it I have never heard before.
"People who train early in the day are most likely to exercise regularly.Conversely, afternoon training is the best because your muscle temp is higher and your stronger.Training early may put your back at risk-the spinal disks are full of fluid and more susceptible to injury.Training later, your joints are better lubricated and the connective tissue more pliable. If you exercise religiously, train in the afternoon when you are stronger and less prone to injury.Train early in the day if you have trouble exercising consistently".
Like I said, some of this we new already. But who as time to train the afternoon. Most people are at work.I have to train in the morning or in the evening when I get off of work. And I always find that I get sleepy in the afternoon, I am not normally at my best. The best time for me to workout is in the evening.I just wanted to let those morning exercisers aware of the spinal fluid...thats all
I also think that there is probably not much truth in the fact that you burn more fat on an emply stomach. This article mentions nothing about it.I also read one time that it doesn't matter if you eat or not b/c your body is going to burn stored fat anyway. What you just ate is still in your system and not stored.Who knew? Can you beleive half of what you read or just go with what works best for you?:7
Have a good day ladies,
Lori
