Hi Cathe (and everyone). I will be 39 (tomorrow!). I am 5'3.5", 134 pounds and I have been running/strength training for a while. (intervals/hills, free weights). I am also an old "Firmer" (years ago). I am in excellent cardiovascular shape. I completed 12 weeks of BFL (Body for Life) last summer with great success, but since then I "fell off the wagon" and gained my 10 pounds back and I am sure, lost muscle tone and gained body fat back. I am probably 30+ percent BF right now. My goals are to reduce body fat and strengthen. Losing 10 pounds would be great but I'll take loss in inches and body fat over the scale of course.
I did Drillmax for the first time yesterday and LOVED it. I prefer high intensity workouts/cardio. I am not super sore today so I know I can up the weights next time. I started lighter (3 lbs. vs. 5's, and 5's or 8's vs. your 10's). I also cannot do any "real" pushups. Only on my knees.
What videos would you recommend for me to use in conjunction with Drillmax? I'd love one under an hour long for busier days. And my big question is how often to do the Cathe videos? Do you recommend daily? Is there a way to mix them without burnout? I've been very inconsistent with working out the last 6 months (3 times a week some weeks, one or none others). I want to get into a schedule or routine where I see results. Any advice? Would the calendar help me? Thanks
