while its good to take a rest day if you feel pretty good then go ahead and do some cardio. in fact a cardio workout doesn't have to be anything from a video or a machine maybe take the family for a nice walk. we are lucky to have hiking trails in our area that i try to take advantage of at least once a week. its peaceful and if you have alot of hills like we do its quite a workout.
