Elevated Mobility!!!

Ok. My first mistake is that I didn't preview the entire workout first. I knew I was in trouble when Cathe said you are all warmed up. What?? That was just the warm up. This is what my body needs. I gravitate towards heavy weight training and I am not a fan of the work I really need to do, which is mobility and flexibility. This was a great workout. I really like this workout a lot. My tight areas were exposed and honestly, it got ugly around the jump back to bear crawl portion :)))) I loved the adductor rocks, hula and all of the rotational movements. This was challenging but felt so good to my body. Thanks Cathe. I look forward to the rotation you will be releasing. I will be sticking with this program for a while. This program makes flexibility and mobility work fun.

Thank you for the review.

I had purchased years ago mobility workout programs. I did find it boring. As result they are boxed in my storages ..... Glad Cathe is bringing fun. Hope she does standing mobility not as a add on but as a full workout. I see that happening ☺️

I prefer to view workout prior to trying it. It is worth spending time.

Take care ☺️

Finished this workout for the first time this morning.

Note to self: Do NOT do this workout the day after a heavy leg day. Eee-gads! I sometimes mistakenly categorize "mobility" as stretching, and stretching only. But no - it does involve some strength, as well. My legs were pretty fried from my leg workout yesterday so they were NOT happy with some of the moves that involved lower body strength, like the low mobility squats and the bear crawls.

All in all, I did enjoy this workout. Fun moves, good flow with some of the combo positions, and it certainly got my heart rate up a few times. I feel like this one is a little more challenging in "difficulty" compared to the original LMR's functional mobility.

As with the Flexibility & Core workout, there's some instances where Cathe's queueing leaves me a rep or two behind because I'm not looking at the screen. I know the more I do the workout, I'll be able to better predict position changes, but it's a little frustrating in the beginning.

I look forward to tackling this one again - but not following leg day. It'll be best when it follows a cardio or rest day for me, I think. Or, perhaps a total body endurance or metabolic workout that had light weights.

Thanks for the tip! I often put in a mobility or stretching workout after 2 straight days of lifting. So I'll reserve this one for a Saturday active recovery day instead.
