Hi all,

Since I have become interested in the P90X series, I have been popping onto EBay now and then. I have noticed a seller that goes by
tom cruz 75 that has had SEVERAL for sale. Don't know if he's legit or not, but maybe be careful if you are looking...

You can often tell if a high ticket DVD seller is legit or not by how much feedback the seller has received. If they have little or no feedback it is safe to bet the seller is a fraud.

Another give away is if the seller will not take pay pal. If the seller wants money orders or checks but won't take pay pal, that's another hint that the seller will never ship your item.

Of course these is a generalization but it's one I use when deciding to purchase ANY item through ebay.

Not necessarily. I sell on Ebay, and I don't take Pay Pal, because if you say you take Pay Pal on Ebay, you have to accept credit card payments as well as bank transfers, and you have to pay a fee to do so. As an individual selling low-ticket items (usually workout videos and DVD's) that wouldn't make sense for me.

Definitely look at feedback, though, and be suspicious of anyone who has several copies of something to sell. There may be a legitimate reason for it (they bought several sets on sale? Like some people may do with Cathe presales. The seller is actually BeachBody, under a different name?). If you have any doubts, email the seller with questions. If they are not answered to your satisfaction, then don't buy. (In this case, ask the guy right up front how he has several copies of P90X for sale.)
