Did everyone enjoy it?

I know Mother's Day is officially over, but i was just wondering if everyone enjoyed their Mommy's Day? That goes for everyone; mothers, daughters, aunts. Whether you have kids or not, how did you enjoy your day?

I sure did!! I got to spend the weekend w/ my family at my Mom's house. She treated me to my first hour long massage which was WONDERFUL!! It was an Eastern Massage?? The lady was amazing and I still feel great!

My dh took my girls shopping and they each picked me out a beautiful necklace (my fav, don't tell them... was a silver heart that says Mom on one side and the other says I Love You). And a Yankee Candle.

Went out to brunch w/ my Mom & extended family and spent the afternoon playing games and having fun!

Super weekend, back to reality today! ;-)

Hope you all had a terrific day also!

What a nice question! How was yours?

I *loved* my mothers day!
DH and my 2 DDs tols me to go back to sleep and brought me breakfast in bed. I got a banana and a bowl of granola. Funny thing about the granola is that they must have had it sitting in milk for a long time because it was really soggy and I had to CHOKE it down! Being pregnant it ended up making me really nauesous to finish it and I spent the next hour on the couch!
I got lots of nice presents and some super cards too!
Nice to know you're loved/appreciated!

What a nice question to post, Tricie! I hope you had a good day!

I had a nice day. DH went shopping for and cooked us dinner and he even made dessert!:9 He washed all of the dishes and put them away as well. I got great cards from him and DS. I also got a nice massage in the afternoon.

Oh yes i had a wonderful time. My DH had a whole day planned for us. Of course, i didn't find out about it until the last minute, but that's what made it so nice.
He woke me up with breakfast in bed, which is always appreciated. :D. Then he took me shopping. After we were done shopping, we went to the movies and saw Ironman. (Great movie, BTW) Afterwards we went by my parents house for dinner. My dad cooked dinner for us. We had baked salmon with broccoli, carrots and brown rice. For dessert we had chocolate cheesecake with vanilla ice cream. :9 (I'm sorry but i couldn't resist Lol!)
When we came home, my husband had white roses delivered and our spare room set up for some "romantic mommy & daddy time" ;), while his mom watched our son. He gave me a massage and.... well you can guess what that led to. :7 It was one of the best days of the year so far. I really enjoyed myself.
There are 4 days out of the year where i get completely spoiled. That's Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, my birthday/wedding anniversary(which is the same day) & Christmas. I got 2 days left & i can't wait. ;) :+

LOL Allison, you're so silly. Yea it was beautiful but i tell my DH all the time that i should get that type of service everyday not just on special days of the year. He said "Imagine how exhausting that would be." Lol! Well Ally, i hope ur day was fun nonetheless.

Mine wasn't super duper - one of my 3 (the one who still lives with me) got me a nice card, a gift card to Sports Authority (which also said "don't put me to shame" - meaning don't get stronger than me as he is now using my fitness room to get in shape for CHP training hopefully) and also a DVD of a Journey concert.

My DD called but neglected to say Happy Mother's day and wanted her brother to call her. She was just down here earlier in the week . . .

Talked to my other DS on Sat and he has a wife who is a new Mom so guess they did their own thing. He had called on Sat for a few minutes and said he'd call yesterday but guess he got busy. Think I will hear from him soon - he is a good kid.

Then what I adored was going to MIL's out in the country for the afternoon just to sit and listen to nature and visit - half the BIL's & SIL's showed up so it was relaxing.

So some good and some OK - and here we are back at work, huh?

Tricie you are so very lucky - hope you know it ;)

I always enjoy Mothers Day. I get to spent it with my mom.
