Has anyone else seen this movie? I just saw it last night & OMG it was freakin hilarious! Totally over the top! I love Quinten Tarantino, he is just too clever. BTW, does anyone else think he's like our generation's Alan Alda? He always seems to have superwomen in his movies who take names & kick a$$.

I think this was made the same time as Grindhouse, another one of my recent faves.

P.S. If you're not into blood & gore, don't watch it. Unless you can appreciate that IT'S A PARODY.

have not seen planet terror b/c i heard there was rape in it and i just can't handle that personally.but we do have death proof. what a hell of a movie!!! i didn't expect it to be as good as it was. i do enjoy his other films though JACKIE BROWN IS THE BOMB of kick ass sisters! kill bill was really good and this was just awesome! super chicks ROCK!

My hubby likes Death Proof. I bought him the dvd after I noticed him watching the movie like 10 times in a month! LOL I won't watch the whole thing cause of the gore but did watch most of it. I could take it or leave it personally but not being into horror, gore and the like, I'm not surprised it wasn't really my thing.

Kassia: I hear you on the rape thing. I can't remember the name of the movie now to save my life but years ago there was a popular movie out starring Jodie Foster where she was gang raped. I found the movie very interesting but the rape scene absolutely turned my stomach.

Ew, Wendy, I remember that movie, it was sick. I made the mistake of watching Last House on the Left last w/e out of curiosity & OMG what a twisted, mysoginistic display that was! I couldn't watch the whole thing.

The blood & gore is parody chicky! Like, when someone's head is chopped off & blood spews 10 feet in the air, it's making fun of movies like Saw. I think Kill Bill was the best--that wedding scene was awesome!

wendy i remember that movie, about puked. also prince of tides got me too. wasn't expecting that! usually horror movies especially on showtime(like the master of horror series) will post if it has rape in it and dh usually watches a film we don't know much about now and lets me know ahead of time so i don't get upset. weird huh i can watch saw where i guy cuts his own damn foot off but i can't handle rape even though i know its just acting in a movie. but these actresses are just do damn convincing for me.
