CoffeyFit Raw- "Body Sculpt Overload" - 35 min.
YT-Michelle Briehler- "20 min. Standing Cardio Abs" with ankle & wrist weights

Linda, good job with the workout today. The 20 min standing cardio abs with ankle and wrist weights sounds interesting. Did you like it? I always like weights (any kind) with abs.
 
Hi ladies,

Today I had blood drawn, ran to the store, came home and did Taebo Get Amped with my wrist weights on, it is 32 minutes long.

For the 1st time when I took off the cotton from the blood draw arm it had really bled and I have a small blue raised bump where the needle went in. I usually never bleed more than a pin prick. The only other time something like this occurred was when I was in the hospital and getting multiple blood draws a day.

Anyway, hopefully the doctor is happy with the numbers.

Calico… hope your arm isn’t too sore. I always try to wear my weighted gloves for boxing routines. Definitely kicks it up a notch.

Aqua girl… I wonder if we did the same standing core. Does MB have more than one wearing wrist and ankle weights?

Cathe Live #314. Supersets PHA. Two circuits x 8 exercises, that were repeated. First one she went a little bit lighter, but the moves were faster. Second one slow and heavier. Loved it! Cathe was solo. Followed with a basic/intermediate, slower BPM step, wearing my weighted vest. Book club meeting today. A few of us didn’t enjoy the book. 2 1/2 out of 5 stars for me.

Chele, yes I believe Michelle does have a couple standing abs….the one I did was
Standing Cardio Abs….

Good to hear the doc likes the numbers! Do you think it had anything to do with working out after you gave blood?

Today I was able to get a little done in my workout room. Realized my movers disconnected the plug and it is gone! So, I'm going to have to order another one and the other cords that hook the DVD to my TV. Those are also missing.:mad::(:eek:
 
Hi Nicki, I got the results from my blood work and all looks better so the doctor is happy says things are stable.

As far as the bruised bump where the blood was drawn it happened right after the blood draw. I didn't work out until at least an hour after the blood draw. And using the wrist weights didn't make it any worse. It is still bruised and raised up now, 8 hours after the draw.
