Last evening: PowerMax and Stretch Max #3.

Tonight: Chest work and floor leg work.

Last evening: Timesaver #4 with KPC/a little shoulder work
30 minute interval run/walk

This evening: Definitely PUB... I got excellent results from PLB!!
A kickbutt Cathe cardio... haven't decided yet.
Core/ab work .... maybe the abs off of All Step..
anybody else done this ab workout, it is really good.

Today is my rest day, but I may step out this morning for my first walk/run/walk. Then I will probably do stretchmax#2.

Hey ladies.

Okay, I can't stand it anymore...I posted over in the pregnancy forum and after reading the responses I have decided that I am gonna give it a go today. I am going to do either Basic Step or a light weight work out and see how I feel with it and take it from there. I was told no exercise but walking for 4 to 6 weeks and tomorrow will be 4 weeks. Also, I have my doc appointment on wednesday anyway so I was looking to get cleared to exercise at that point but I just can't wait any longer!!! I PROMISE I will take it easy but I gotta do it! It's driving me batty! lol

Later today I am going to visit my Aunt and then my mom with Joey. Mom and I are going to take a walk downtown by her house so that I can get my nails done for the first time since before I got preggie and then we are taking Joey out to eat. :9 Should be a nice afternoon/evening.

I messed up my back so nothing for a couple of days. I think in my overzealousness I have thrown my body out of whack with my workouts lately. That and I upped my situps w/ weights on my chest from 25 to 35 pounds. I should have known better, especially after all that jumping in the Gauntlet and IM3. Sometimes I don't know my own limits :( I feel dumb b/c I should not have pushed so hard. Keeping up after my son should do it for me today!

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday was Boot Camp cardio only in the am to the sounds of Gwen Stefani's "What are you waiting for". Core Max 2 mid afternoon and running for 30 mins in the evening to the sounds of Nirvana (Nevermind) CD. If you like Nirvana, #5 on the CD is a great one to listen to for HIIT while running. Starts out slow so I do a slow jog and then Kurt starts rockin' out and I start to sprint, so I use the song as my HIIT guideline and had alot of fun with it!

Today will be ME which I will workout to the sounds of the Scorpions since this workout will sting some! LOL Garden Max will be my cardio for the day.

Good Morning Friends in Fitness!!

TGIF!!!
This morning is PUB (yeah! I love this one) and then its campingmax!!
The family is going camping for the weekend, leaving around noon today and I am soooooo ready for a mini vacation. Books and magazines are packed and I plan to camp out at the pool . But of course I'm also bringing my walking shoes!!! No formal workouts while I'm gone , but since we'll be back Sunday afternoon, I really only miss tomorrow anyway, and I'll just call that my rest day!!

Hope you all get to do something fun this weekend too.:)

Yesterday:Run and jumped on trampoline with my boys.
This morning:LL & MM Upper Body
This evening:Run

This is the 1st week of hurricane season, and there is already a storm heading to the Gulf and straight for us. Please keep us in your prayers. There are still lots! of people without a home from Hurricane Ivan last year. It was a devastation here! We just can't take another one.

This morning was Kick Max. What a sweat fest. Holy cow, I forgot how hard this was! And I even saved the leg conditioning drills for tonight. Off to shower!

Sandra...yes, I do believe L&G could have inspired by Freestyle training! Also Leaner Legs is similar as long as the weight used is light. Even when I did PLB the other day I just decreased the weight amount to 70% of what I normally did and was really amazed at how much I felt the muscles during the exercises. Not sure Freestyle would work for everyone but as I am getting older and it is alot harder to build muscle now, I think strengthening the muscle I have and slimming my legs (if I can!) is the way for me..:)

Wendy...yes, take it easy today! I do think as you were in such good shape during your pregnancy it'll definitely help you as you ease back into it!

Carla...hurricane season must be scary. I will keep you all in my prayers as the storm approaches..

I'l do my freestlye legwork, some abs and a 4 mile run today. The weather has gotten nice here. Have a great day ladies...:)...Carole
 
Thanks for the encouragement ladies! I had to come back to report on my work out.

Basic Step, Stability Ball Abs Add On, Stretchmax # 2.

And I completed it all before 9 am! That is sooo not me but my Joey is best behaved in the morning so I think I'm gonna have to become a morning exerciser! I survived so it should only get easier from here on out. :)

It felt SOOO good to work out again! I must say though that my abs-they are shot! OMG they are sooo weak and non-existant right now! It's gonna take a lot of hard work to get the muscle back!

Good morning all!

Well, yesterday after work I made up for my missed morning workout (due to the power outage), and did PUB. It's a good thing DH came home late from work or he would have had to endure my grunting and groaning during that one! ;) I've already got some lovely DOMS through my chest and it is such a wonderful feeling. :D

And then this morning I did Legs & Glutes. It was my first time doing that one - man, what a burner! And I didn't even use weights for half the exercises! When Cathe picks up a 15-lb dumbbell for leg press, I figure I don't have to because I'm carrying around probably 20 or 30 pounds more body weight than she is at about the same height - LOL!. You might say I've got built-in dumbbells. Now, if a miracle occurs and I lose that extra body weight - THEN I'll pick up that 15-lb dumbbell! :p

Morning Everyone,

Today will be what I was going to do yesterday! I have a cold and yesterday I was coughing all day! I sat on the sofa last night. Today I feel much better, so it will be CTX Upper Body and a run.

Carla, take care and will keep you in our thoughts.

Wendy, It sounds like you know how to take it easy on the work out. I'm sure your doc will give the ok!

CTX UBS..that's a killer! You are a brave soul! I did that ONCE in full and from that point on have split it up cause I'm too wimpy to go there again! :p Have fun!

Good Morning All: Debbie I hope your back gets feeling better soon that's some serious workouts you've been doing Girl, be good to yourself.

Charlotte I love your music picks for working out, Gwen is a fave around this house and my two teens are loving Nirvana lately. Music can make or break a workout, I do the treadmill at the gym once in a while and crank up Collective Soul's greatest hits CD, so motivating!

Carole, you've got it going on as you are, the way you're working those already bionic legs is going to put you into a whole other league, you are one inspiring lady:)

Wendy, awesome work, you are one hot (and determined) Momma! It took me a loooong time to look that good after my babes were born!

Carla, we'll definitely be keeping good thoughts for all of you in Hurricane country, stay safe.

Today I enjoyed a stepping sweatfest. StepWorks is my one of my favourite Cathe workouts and I enjoyed it tremendously, I finished with SJ&P abs and stretch and am back to the garden now. I better hurry, it look like some serious thunderstorms are brewing, I love thunderstorms!!!
