I love the idea of a cycling video. I always used Spinervals for cycling videos. They have a 3 hour tape which is a heck of a way to spend a cold winter Sunday morning on your bike... I recommend inviting a friend (or two) to bring a bike(s) and trainer(s) if you can to make the time go faster. The thing is though -- to play devil's advocate -- a lot of what makes Cathe unique is her excellent choreography and routines (cardio and weight) and I could see her maybe feeling like the bike wouldn't necessarily be a place where she could showcase herself (or maybe she would bring something unique and wonderful to it and it would be an absolutely great video -- I don't doubt that if she did it, it would be worth it). What I like about Spinervals is that it is no-nonsense drills. If I wanted scenery indoors, I'd save up for a Tacx I-Magic and ride Alpe D'Huez from my living room!
Anyways... I'm seeing more and more stability/core, balance apparatus type things out there, and I feel that if Cathe incorporated some of these new toys into video(s) it would almost legitimize them. If Bosu really is THAT good, then I should have one because Cathe is using it. I have a respect for Cathe's stuff in that kind of way.
Same thing, if the trend is going in all-over, boot camp style drill workouts (LOVE DRILL MAX BTW), and Runner's World is saying that one of the things the ideal home gym should have is an agility ladder -- then I want to see Cathe using one so I know how to incorporate it in my routine.
Along those same lines... what about workouts that focus more on lateral training/conditioning. Runners (and non-runners) need this. We all walk forward and use those muscles, but not many of us do much to strengthen and condition lateral muscles.
Whew. Long winded, sorry!
Keep up the awesome work(outs)!
