CTX Series

I just received my CTX Series DVD yesterday. :D I did the first workout today and I think I'm going to love this set. I love that it felt like a complete workout, cardio, weights, and abs. And it was only 1 hour. With 11month old twins time is precious. The cardio was great, just as I thought I couldn't do anymore that section was over. Yeah.

I just wanted to share. I'm desperately trying to shed those baby pounds. They just seam to be hanging on!

CTX Series: Power Circuit

What? Baby fat, hanging on? They are sticking to me for dear life!!!!!:p

Yup! I love CTX. I did Power Circuit and Upper Body Split on Sunday, and I am still recuperating! My tush is still tender. That is because I had been concentratin on running and upper body...so I decided to do the Power Circuit and it was AWESOME. Try that one next. The step cardio is really fun, too.

I also bought CTX on DVD in my attempt to drop my post-baby pounds, and I have to tell you it worked for me. I think the series is so excellent ! I found the mix of the short but intense cardio sections along with working one body part per day was just what I needed to keep me motivated and working out on a regular basis. I am able to squeeze my workouts in while the kids are napping. This is definitely my favorite Cathe DVD.
Good luck to you in achieving your goals!

CTX is brilliant. I'm wondering if the Timesaver DVD is going to be pretty similar? It sounds like it the way Cathe described it. Also, I think she said one day is going to be devoted totally to legs!:7 I can't wait to get my paws on this one!:D

I too feel CTX is one of my most valuable possessions. You can make it whatever you need for the day, week, month. My faves are the Power Circuit circuit segment and the 10-10-10 hi/lo segment, as well as the Kickbox and Power Circuit ab segments.

BTW, Stacy - are you a Minnesota gal?

Is there any particular order that is best for during the CTX series?

So I did Power Circuit yesterday and 10.10.10 today. I'm feeling good, but yes my gluts are very sore.

Thanks,

Hey, Stacy! And Marcia / MRSchultz! A Plymouthonian here!

Are you not just dying for some rain?

Oh my, YES - YES - YES!!!!!! Rain would be great. But ya know, we haven't had rain for a couple of months (that's worth talking about anyway) and there is a chance tomorrow - well, of course that when I'm having a Pampered Chef party and kids are invited to join their mothers. Sooooo, my house will probably be full - and here I hoped they would be able to go outside. BUT, I'm not going to hold my breathe on the rain either - we have no luck with any this summer.

I did hear, too, that the winter is suppose to be very dry, too.

Great to hear from all of you. Marcia. :)

As long as you keep a break between Power Circuit and Leaner Legs, you can do it in any order you wish...unless you don't want to be able to walk for a week! he he he...:p }(

Hubby & I JUST finished CTX-Kickbox! (His very first attempt at it! :7) He loved it. He said he wants to do it 5 days a week! It goes by so quickly too. The CTX Series is truly one of Cathe's masterpieces. Have FUN!
