Hi Debbie - Sorry To be late with the recipe. This is A White Clam Sauce:

Saute one shallot and one clove garlic in olive oil.

Add Knorr Leak Soup Mix. According to directions add water. I substitute fat free reduced sodium chicken broth.

Cook accordiing to directions and add 1/2 cup fresh parsley or dried (fresh is better) Add salt, pepper (white, black or red pepper),

At the end of cooking add 2 cans of whole baby clams (or fresh) in shells in season. Add 2 cans chopped clams.

I sometimes add a little skim milk to make it more of a white sauce, but it's not necessary. Simmer that and turn off till ready to cook whole Wheat Linguine.

Cook linguine and add sauce.

Have a good weekend.

Thank you, thank you!!! A couple questions...do you mean instead of using water the Knorr Leek soup calls for, you add the chicken broth? Also...is the leak soup a dry soup mixture? I''ve seen the Knorr Veg dry mix before. Does the soup thicken as it cooks before serving over the pasta? Sorry for all the questions. Thank you for taking the time to post this. It sounds soooo good. I am sure DH will love it too. (We had red meat sauce over Whole wheat angel hair tonight. :9)

Hi Debbie - I use two cups of water and one cup of chicken broth. It doesn't really get thick, just soupy. Yes, Knorr leek soup is dry in a packet in a box. It's not necessary to use it, but I like the flavor it gives the sauce.
