circuit max question

I just ordered circuit max, but the only problem is, I just realized the only step I have is my 6 inch from the firm (square and wooden). Is that going to be a problem? Do I absolutely have to have a long gym type step for the step portion of this video?
Thanks

This video is new for me and off hand I can't remember the step part so well. I know there is one long hop turn which isn't great for a short step. But I don't think you "absolutely" need a long step. Just make sure your square step is secure and won't tip over! If you think it will, maybe you should just do the step pattern on the floor. Also, the step portion is fairly small compared to the entire length of the video. jeanne

I have the standard, not gym size though, step. Probably about 2 feet long. It was about $50 from a sporting goods store. If yours is shorter than this, I don't think the workout will be as beneficial to you. It may not be safe either. You should try to get a normal step.

I actually wish I spent the extra money to get the longer one because mine can be unsturdy and I sometimes use it as a weight bench, so the longer length would be nice. A step is a REALLY good investment if you plan on getting more step tapes.
