Cathe: which shoe would you say is better for absorbing high impact?

I noticed you were wearing the Ryka Enlight II and the Avia shoe; would you say one is better for absorbing high impact? Do you feel either one works well for both step AND floor aerobics?

Hi Marianne! I liked both shoes equally. I wanted to wear a black shoe for kickbox and at the time Ryka did not have a black shoe in my size. That's when I selected Avia. I was very happy with how comfortable and supportive the Avia shoe was. I enjoy both shoes for Hi/lo and step.

Thanks for your quick answer, Cathe! I like the look of the Avias, so if I can get the size figured out, I'll go with them!
