Can new step topper be used for FIRM tapes?

From what I can gather, the actual surface area of the topper is not much smaller than the Firm Fanny Lifter. Therefore, I think using the step risers and the topper in place of the FL is a perfectly acceptable option. I am going to buy a high step because I imagine that this will be more stable than my FL, which can seem wobbly, especially on one legged squats where one foot is on the box. I also like how you could adjust the high step for different exercises. While I like the height of the FL for step ups (it's perfect for me), the 14 inches is a bit low for sit and stand squats and my knees really feel it. So for that I could add 2-4 inches and it would be perfect.

IMO,I think the high step with risers offers more stability and more options for height than the FL.

Yes it's appropriate. With the high step you can change heights as opposed to a 14" Fanny Firmer. Or I guess that's what they call them nowadays.
I have the old wooden 14" Fanny Firmer from the Firm and I no longer use it for workouts the High Step is so much more versatile.
I just love mine so much.

I've been using my homemade high step topper for my Firm tapes for a couple of years now! It works great.

I use it for all my videos that require any sort of step because it can be set to so many different heights. :)

One of the reasons I got the High Step topper was because I knew it would work wonderful with the Firm workouts. The Firm constantly changes their FL from 6" to 8" to 14" back to 6" (you get the picture!) constantly throughout the workout and it drove me crazy! I was using my long step bench and bought 8 extra risers this summer so that I could use my step bench as a high step but that was driving me crazy with the Firm workouts! Now I can do my Cathes and my Firms without the aggravation of changing step heights. Plus you can change the High Step height in 2 inch increments for when you get stronger!
