The Governor has set up the Texas Round Up as an initiative to encourage Texans to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives and to commit to a more active lifestyles. You can form teams of coworkers, friends, family, church members etc. There is a component for adults and kids. The minimum requirements are 30 minutes a day of exercise 5 times a week for adults and 60 minutes a day 5 times a week for kids. The program is for 6 weeks.

The program will end with a Fitness Festival at the State Capitol on April 17th and a Texas Size 10K starting and ending at the Capitol.
