hello everyone
I got my high step yesterday. I used it today to do high step intermediate, it was too easy for me but I got to use my high step. Now I can start buying DVDs that use the high step, I can't wait. I hope all is well with all the BB out there. Have a great day.:) :)

Good morning,

I'm super tired today, so it's a semi-scheduled rest day. I'm moving my rest days to Tuesdays because Mondays are now extremely long days. I have my biology class and lab right after work, till nearly 10. I'm glad that's only once a week. My teachers are already preparing exams for us, starting next week! Didn't we just start classes? :)

Take care,
Ellen

Hello BB's,

Today will be GS Legs, a segment of Coremax, and a 30 min. Interval run on the treadmill.

My oldest DD had her first night with swimming. She said it was really tough, but wants to go back tonight. So that is a positive. I couldn't believe the amount of parents that just wait the hour and a half. I was out the door and grocery shopping. I just wouldn't sit there and wait.

Sue, No I'm not following the Aug05 rotation. I'm just using some of the segments that I enjoyed and incorporating it into my rotation. }(

Have a great day everyone,

Laurie

Hi All BBs!

Cynthia - I can't imagine things could be worse unless Brett gets injured.

What happened to Jill?

Marie

Laurie - That's a good idea incorporating the Aug '05 ideas into your rotation. I still want to try Boot Camp 2X back-to-back just to see if I can do it.}(

We checked out a Tae Kwon Do studio last night for the kids. Can't believe they want $970 for 6 months! The price is for 2 kids but still....that would be almost $1000/year per kid. They want the kids to take 2 lessons per week so it's a big time commitment for us, too, carting them back and forth. (BTW I'm with you, Laurie, on not sticking around during swim lessons or whatever - especially now that they're older.) The kids already have CF & Adventure Guides. DD has guitar lessons (and starting drums soon). DS has flag football starting. I don't want to over-schedule them (or ourselves) but they are really excited about TKD. I know the outfits and testing for belts is an additional cost but I'm not so concerned about the money as I am our sanity! I don't want every day to be boom-boom-boom go here now go there. Know what I mean? Oh, well. We have until Saturday to decide.

Anyway...Was supposed to do Legs & Glutes today but woke up with sore hamstrings so I did the Kickmax Leg Drills I didn't have time for yesterday, Coremax #3, and CTX shoulders, bis, and tris. This was a good mix for a non-cardio day.

Have a good rest of the day, BBs!

Sue

Marie thanks for asking about me. I am still here but haven't worked out in a week. I broke up with my BF of over 3 years and I'm having a hard time. I'll rejoin the daily thread when I get my head together.

Sorry to hear that Jill! Call or email if you need to talk. Hang in there. I have been there and no matter the circumstances it is a tough time. Life will get better. We are here for you! Take care.

Sue - does the Y offer any martial arts for the kids that isn't as expensive or time consuming. Stepson took some classes but it was only once a week and not sure of the cost since we only paid indirectly.

Hi Guys! Did half on Christi's Still Jumpin (very fun)and High Step Challenge cardio and lower body work. Looks like you are having some nice weather this week. Workouts should be getting better. I can't wait to turn the air off. From 6 pm. to 10 am., I have been turning off the air and opening up windows. It's been cooling down nicely at night. Take Care!

Cynthia
