Body Fusion & Basic Step

Hi, I just ordered this and wondered if any of you have done these workouts and what you think of them. I consider myself an advanced exerciser, but I've never done step. To the request of many of you, I ordered IMAX, and found myself stumbling around because I just didn't know where she was going, so I thought I needed something easier to get used to basic step moves. I didn't feel like I was getting a workout at all, because I wasn't doing ANY of the right moves.

Do you think this will help me? Eventually I would really like to try to master IMAX, but right now I feel to inexperienced stepwise.
 
Hi - I think Body Fusion is a great place to start. After you master th basic step wo you can always up the intensity by adding power to all of the moves. I've done that and it's a pretty good workout. I would suggest that after you master basic step and body fusion, you should look into some of her earlier step workouts, e.g. Step Heat, Step Jam, Wedding Tape. I just got IMAX 1 and have yet to get through the entire thing more because of the intensity than the footwork. My goal tomorrow is to complete it!!

Basic Step is an excellent workout for you to get used to being on the step & to get used to some of Cathe's moves. Then Step Fusion will add to that knowledge. I know it seems so awkward at first, but soon you'll be jumping around with the rest of us, and wishing you never HEARD of Cathe & her maniac fans!:p

Seriously, you'll love it.
