Hi, Steph! Great job getting CC done! Awesome way to start the day, hugh???

I got my workout in also...iTread 32, 40 minutes Flat & Fast. Plus ME abs and stretch.

HEY...any Survivor fans??? It starts up this week! The kids and I are excited!

BBl to check in on everybody! Oh, and thanks, guys, for letting me come back after being MIA for so long.

Good Morning

My WI today went ok, Im down .7 since last tuesday. I was expecting a bigger lost though since I haven't lost any real weight in about three weeks. Oh well...I will take it! I could still be the same as last week;)

OMG,i had an awful day yesterday! First I couldn't log on my schools website due too technical difficulties. Then once i called and got that straightened out i had trouble opening up my course materials(books that i need to get my answers from) Still can't open them up....i don't have microsoft word I have microsoft word ' works' and apparently there not the same thing:mad: Im trying to download the free trial version of word before the end of the day today so i can get my assignments in before midnight tonight. I tried downloading it yesterday,twice but there were problems the first time then the second time I ended up with microsoft accounting professional:confused: not sure how that happened? On top of all that crap my kids were acting TERRIBLE yesterday,just fighting and caring on and my son(whos still potty training) had diarrhea...bless his heart,he tried to make it to the potty.And he was coughing up a storm. I was such a nervous wreck yesterday that by the end of the day i was crying:(. But I felt better afterwards and I was SO RELIEVED to see my DH get home around 6:30.

oh well,today is another day:D and I get to have my cheat meal:D and I get to workout like a crazy nut:D Im thinking cardio and weights:D I need to hear buttercup;)

Amelia, I am proud of you for your clean eating even after yesterday's fiasco! What will your cheat meal be today? Hope DS is feeling better today! Did you get your assignment in last night? YIPPEE on the scale being down AGAIN!!! You go girl!

Amelia! What a day you had yesterday! WOW! Great job staying the course! I get thru each and every day, including those tough ones, KNOWING that when 8pm comes, my kids are tucked in bed and the evening is ALLLLL MINE! Oh, as for the behavior....I just told my boys the other day that when they argue or fight, they're going outside to run laps around the house.....one lap for each year they are old. They stopped arguing pretty quickly! LOL

Just enjoying my oatmeal with ground flax and cooked egg whites before I walk to school/work.

Have an awesome day...Amelia, today HAS to be better than yesterday, right? LOL

Bike: 6.35mi 30min
Muscle Endurance (all!)

Phew! That was a tough one! I can't remember the last time I did it! I have done the abs on and off however.

Gayle: You and I must have been thinking alike this morning to reach for ME! ;) Nice job on your itread and ME abs! Using the 8# med ball for this is awesome!

Amelia: I hope you have a better day! You and I both had it rough yesterday with kids acting up! Sorry to hear about your son. I hope he feels better today. Have a great workout with C&W!

Steph – You’ve inspired me to load CCV1 on my player for later in the week. I work in a “high traffic” area too and have to do some quick switches sometimes, lol.

Gayle – I’ll be watching Survivor on Thurs. I saw the previews this week and it looks like a really interesting season. LOL on your solution to your boys disagreements! Mmmmm, your oatmeal sounds good!

Amelia – Oh my, you had one rough day yesterday. I hope it’s better today. What classes are you taking this semester? I’m taking Business Mgmt. and my second English course. I have an essay due tomorrow and a case study paper due this weekend. I’m just dreading them, ugh.

Heidi – WOW! I just went back to yesterday’s thread and I am just AMAZED that teacher could expect that kind of information about you in these day and times. What was his purpose???? And oh yikes, I’m so happy your son was fine and you were able to work things out as a family. I think you and your DH being supportive of him is the most important thing…..he’ll remember that longer than this situation. I hope he has a better day today. You know, he sounds a lot like my youngest son. He’s having such a tough High School experience. I try to tell him it’s only four years of his life (one left now) and that “real” life is so much different. :(

Belinda – I hope your moving is going well!

Sherry – Are you still running a leg of the marathon relay? I’m winding down to the Marine Corps Marathon next month (then the Philly marathon in Nov).

Oh, I ran 4 miles this morning (using CCV2 Revised) and did the ab segment of Amy Bento’s HB Bootcamp DVD. I like the abs on this one, they’re very different and involve more functional movements.

Hi ladies! I'm so glad it's lunch time...:p I'm in love with hommus!


I have to be quick. I need to run out to the grocery store. Wasn't I just there?! Tonight is HIIT. I'll probably do a CC, either V1, 2 or 3. I am more sore today than I was yesterday from that kettlebell workout. I had to take a rest day yesterday.

Melissa, hey girlie! You need to tell me what kind/flavor hummus you eat and what you eat it with. I am ready for something new to try. The weather has been changing down here and I feel soup/stew weather is just around the corner! Glad to hear about your DOMS!!! Have a SUPER afternoon and evening!


My DOMS from GS Legs yesterday seem to be getting worse as the day goes on! I need to walk like a duck to ease the pain, but have to walk normal in front of the patients! OUCHIE!! and the bathroom breaks are tough too! Why don't they make an inflatable toilet seat with a Cathe logo?!

Back to work! Lunchtime is over!
 
Hi Steph! ^^^^^5's on your duck-waddle!!! You must have worked those legs good! I love the inflatable toilet seat idea, just wouldn't want to carry it back and forth to the bathroom with me...:eek:

I've fallen in love with Joseph's Roasted Red Pepper hommus. I've been buying whole wheat flat bread, the brand name is Naan. There is two in a package and a serving size is a half of one. I put them in the oven right on the rack and cook them at 400 degrees until I can smell them. I let them cool then divide them in half with a pizza cutter, then cut them into strips. I usually have a serving of that, fresh green beans, carrot & celery sticks with about a 1/2 cup of hommus. I love it because it looks and feels like a huge snack. I'm all about volume! Which is why I have to stay away from pasta...:eek:

I'm really looking forward to the soup/stew weather!! I'm actually thinking about making the beef & barley soup from the EFL cookbook this coming weekend...YUMMY!!

I'm happy to inspire anyone to snack, Steph!!! Have you tried Fage yet? It's a greek yogurt, not sure if you have it in your area. Anywho, I mix 1/2 cup of Fage with 1/4 cup of crushed pineapple. It's delish and the yogurt is so thick if feels like I'm having something naughty. As a matter of fact, I think I'll have some for my snack tonight.

Finished my wo: CCV4 challenges 1 & 2, then CCV7 challenge 3. Lots of fun!

No Melissa, I haven't tried Fage yet but saw it at the local Wal-Mart...how about you just make up my grocery list and PM me...that would be alot easier! Okay, going to add Fage and pineapple to the list!
