Hi Cathe,

I am just starting your tapes after Firming for a long while. I am an advanced beginner/intermediate exerciser and was wondering which of your heavy weight tapes you would recommended someone start with?

I have pre-ordered your new beginning/intermediate dvd's(can't wait for those) but, I wanted to add at least one heavy weight tape a week.

What do you think? And, not just Cathe, I would love to hear from any and all Cathe fans as to what they recommend too!

I am not cathe but cathe's 'slow and heavy' series and her 'pure strength' series are good investments. You could start wth weights suitable for your level and slowly up the weights to cathe's level.

I would suggest Pure Strength or the Pyramids but both are split routines. If you want a total body workout then MIS is your best bet. It's on the Power Hour DVD w/ Body Max so you'd get a lot of bang for your buck & 3 very different strength workouts. It's my most used DVD.

I'm a big fan of Slow & Heavy but Cathe suggests using it for just a few weeks at a time. It's a 3 day split. It's one you might want to add later for plateau busting.
