<--is taking a 2-hour multi-ethnic food walking tour, then going book shopping, then seeing movie, then maybe out to dinner..

<--- doesn't know if she could handle a 2 hour walking tour in this heat and humidity. Temps are supposed to reach 92 degrees here today;(

<--- 's DH brought home lots of work and if he doesn't get it finished he may have to go into the office tomorrow:-(

<--thinks the walking tour will involve some air-conditioned restaurants, but will dress VERY light and wear tons of sunblock

<--heard on the food channel that it was pretty bitter, no?
<--had a great time working out yesterday
<--says her gym was closing, so had to walk about a half mile to another branch of the gym
<--says the treadmills overlook the pool and you can watch people swimming and kids playing in the pool and it was nice
<--felt like a million bucks after the workout
<--may find a way to workout again today

<--- tells Cuz that parting with books was an odd notion for her as well but she simply had no room to bring in NEW books unless she purged her shelves
<--- would never part with her beloved classics like Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, etc, or her biographies, but did find a few titles that she won't miss

(many are antique handed down from DH's relatives) AND in the garage, and in her bathrooms:eek: (is currently reading "What Would Jackie Do" in her bathroom:eek: :7)

<--- went to 3 different stores and spent a couple of hours looking for a new phone
<--- 's DH was antsy and picked one out without really looking over the options. They brought it home and charged it up but alas, they discovered it doesn't have an answering machine and they must have that

<--- now needs to return the friggin phone ;(
