Are there any benefits to training with "light" weights...

Hi Cathe!

Just wanted to ask-Are any benefits to training with lighter weight once a person has progressed to heavier weights for most of the basic exercises? I have progressed from beginner to intermediate level with cardio and can lift weights at an advanced level. I still like to do the body sculpting portions of Body Fusion and Low Impact Step since my cardio/endurance is at that level; however, I don't feel like I am getting much of a workout performing exercises such as bicep curls at 3 or 5 lbs. Should I always do them at a level that is challenging to me or are there some merits to "light" weight training that I am missing?

Just also wanted to say I really enjoy your workouts and especially delight in everything you have put together to make the whole experience so comprehensive-website, forums, video clips, online ordering, and the time you take just to chat!
