Am I The Only One Whose Computer Freezes?

I tried to watch Butts and Guts and got halfway through when my computer completely froze up and I had to manually turn it off. I then made sure I had the new Flash player installed and tried again but this time the workout didn't even load -- the screen came on black and the computer froze. Turned off and rebooted it and when I tried to load workout again, again my computer froze! I have Comcast high speed internet, and wonder if anyone knows any reason this would happen. Guess I'm just out of luck as far as previewing the new workouts!

>My freezes on all the videos. Then i have to keep restarting
>then play it again:(
I hate to be mean -- but I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. After three times, though, I'm just not ready to try again as each time it seems to just get worse! And I thought my Comcast would work wonders!!!!!

It usually means that the computer you're using is just too old and doesn't have enough "horsepower". Almost any computer made in the last 3 years will will be able to handle the vid clips. But if your computer is rather old it will have problems as the processor speed will not be able to handle the large vid clips. You need at least a Intel® Pentium® II 450MHz or faster processor (or equivalent) and and that might not even be enough. A Pentium 3 or 4 should work fine.

Thanks so much for the reply. My computer is just over 3 years old. Has Intel Pentium 4 Processor (Does this mean anything: NPFC A/V2.20GHZ?) Should I just consider it a hopeless case?

A Pentium 4 is fine. The next thing you want to make sure is that you have enough RAM and enough Free Hard disk Space. Make sure you're running Windows XP, IE 6.0 or greater and Flash 9.0 (you need at least Flash 8.0).

Also, once you start to download the vid clip file try ckicking the pause button on the Cathe Player. Wait about 10 minutes and then click the play button again. Let us know if that solves your problem.

That "Pause" seems to have done it -- the clip played all the way through perfectly. I do thank you so much -- you folks have gotten great about responding to problems!

i just upgraded my memeory last night on my puter and i am able to watch dvds, long clips(like cathe's), and even play some puter games i have that i wasn't able to use before. my puter is about 3-4 years old its the athlon processer, so it just needs an upgrade which is rather $$$$. i also have cable internet,so when things started slowing down i though it was a spyware or something.nope it seems when i got this thing fixed i lost a lot of RAM(the guy had no clue what he was doing)so i lost alot of speed and function.just sharing the expierence, which my be helpful.

Hi, I have dial up and I think thats my problem.
It took 4 hours to down load the clip, and at the end it froze
on a black screen. When I tried to play it again I had lost all
the down loading.
Not only is my computor slow 31.2 Kbps, I can sometimes be
A computor Klutz:( .
I did go to collage video and watched some small clips there
that made me happy again :) Work outs look awesome!
