Hi all!
My brother asked me yesterday if it was safe to take creatine. I'm concern because his BP is 190/90 and not certain if creatine can make it worse. He's also close to 300lbs. He's 6'1, large boned, and very muscular, but has excess wt, mostly carries it in the tummy. He recently joined a gym, he alternates upper and lowerbody on different days, and does 2-3 days of cardio. He also changed his diet. So he's working on his wt. I don't want him taking supplements without knowing the side effects, because of his BP. I did a search of creatine, but all I could find are companies tring to see the product. I need more of an "objective" view, not a bias one. Can anyone out there offer any knowledge regarding this product? High BP can cause renal problems and a stroke, has creatine ever been linked to these problems?
TIA
