50 and Over "Thoughtful Tuesday"

Good Morning Ladies: Its a beautiful day here,sun is shining. I'm not sure how the temp is(I'll find out soon).Today I have an inservice on dealing with conflict for 2hours then out visiting patients. So I think its going to be a quick day. This a.m.did rhythmic step and chest from PUB.
I bought some candy corn yesterday and ate the whole bag x( . I which I had more self control. I'll check in later. Have a wonderful day~Linny~

I love candy corn and when I saw them at the maket I bought 2 bags.
I won't be eating the whole bag because my dh and dd love them too.

I ended up runnign 4.5 miles yesterday and felt better after having a bad morning. I did have a good afternoon, my boss came over and gave me an 8% race, which I was not expecting.

Today I will be going to the gym and taking a spinning class.

Hi Linny and Josie--

I did PUB this morning and am feeling IOMS (Immediate Onset Muscle Soreness) in my chest and biceps.

I'm so sorry about your friend, Josie. How are her spirits? I spent a lot of time with one of my sisters who died of lung cancer--first on the phone and then one long weekend when I went to visit her about 3 weeks before she died. We just talked endlessly about her life and our family. It was good for both of us and I have very good memories about those final weeks.

Since no one wants to walk a quarter mile up our driveway in the dark, I don't buy any Halloween candy and avoid that temptation altogether. What size bag of candy corn was it, Linny??

Anyone watching Dancing with the Stars? I still like charismatic Julio, but I never vote, so I guess my preferences don't ultimately matter. There are some very good celebrity dancers this time. Wayne Newton, however, should be the next to go. What is a Cheetah Girl??? I don't recognize her, but she is certainly a firecracker when she gets out on the dance floor.

Hi Garance,

My friends spirits are good. She wants to be healthy enought to attend her daughters wedding on November 4th. Her daughter is going to have 2 weddings, one here in LA and the second one in Hong Kong on December 31st. The Dr. told us that she may not meke it to Chistmas.

I will try to spend as much time with her as I can. I do talk to her everyday and try to keep her spirits up. We have a good group of friends and we have been with her along the way with this illness.
