50 and Over *Friday*

Good Morning Ladies:
Tried exercizing today did 30 min and started with the hives again so I had to stop. Did some yoga after for a little stress relief. I wanted to give my 3 weeks notice at work today but I called and Human Resources is out till monday. And I don't want to give it my boss,she'd probably say somethimg like its about time.
Kathy: Just one more question before I buy the Ebook. How much weight or inches lost have you had since starting Ebook?
I'm suppose to go to the lake this afternoon and be back sunday. So I hope all you ladies have a wonderful weekend.~Linny~

Linny: I just feel terrible for you b/c your not able to exercise. You must have a terrible boss from the sound of it.:-( I truly believe things happen for a reason. Perhaps these challenges that God's throwing our way is telling us that there's something better out there. Let's hang tough & persevere. We'll get through this. In the meantime, enjoy the lake & just do some yoga. I enjoy doing yoga w/lit scented candles around. Puts me in a more relaxed mood.

My goals before I started BFFM were to get my bf% lower than it was. I started out weighing 115# & am now 107#. I started at 20% body fat & am now 14.42%. I'm still a work in progress. Next month will concentrate on getting my bf% down even more.

Jen: I have Kelly Coffe-Meyer's stepboxing & its fast but fun! The choreo isn't hard at all. Enjoy!

Josie: Congrats on winning all that $$! Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. I never workout when I'm on vacation & I never feel guilty either.}(

I took a rest day yesterday. Tonight its Tracey's Sculpt Sweatfest going as heavy as I can on the weights. Saturday's a bike ride w/son. Let's hope this time he eats a proper breakfast. :eek: Sunday's a beach day. Yay! Its supposed to be glorious this whole weekend.

Tracey Staehle had given me a rotation to follow for one month. Starting it on Monday. You'll see quite a bit of Tracey's w/outs listed. Jillybean (who's on these forums) had gotten spectacular results from her w/outs. I wanted to try it for one month to see what its going to do for me. Wish me luck! I have to eat super duper clean too. I'll be listing all my eats & drinks here too to keep me accountable. I hope you don't mind.

Linny, I,too, believe things happen for a reason. Your boss sounds toxic. You mentioned a job as a hospice nurse - that sounds wonderful, and wonderfully rewarding. Enjoy your weekend.

Kathy, I'm very much looking forward to you listing what you eat - sounds interesting and may give me some good ideas.

I did the Kelly Coffey-Meyer StepKickboxing DVD yesterday. I did enjoy it, and am sure I'll enjoy it more as I become familiar with it. She is not big on clueing ahead, it's more like while she's doing the first rep of the new move. It's definitely different from my other DVDs, which is a big plus. The music was okay, but at least not bad enough to be irritating, except for one song at the beginning of the abs segment.

Today, I'm doing the Low portion of Candace Copeland's Step and Low.

Hi Linny, Kathy, Melrose--

Today I did Supersets 59 minute upper body premix. Tomorrow I'm off, but I am going to see a ballet company at Jacob's Pillow, and that will probably inspire me to do something dancy on Sunday.

Linny, isn't prednisone a steroid? Won't that make losing weight very difficult? Your boss sounds awful. When I get stressed (usually after a class that has not gone as planned), I just feel low and have a bout of sleeplessness.

Do any of you subscribe to More magazine? I discovered it on vacation last year and immediately subscribed. The target audience is women over 40, and I find all of the articles really pertinent to my stage of life. It's chock full of useful info--everything from medical issues, exercise, nutrition, to career changes, fashion, etc.

Weather feels more like fall here than summer.
