Do I need KPC if I have the Timesaver version?

I agree. KPC/LG is worth getting even with Timesaver. Timesaver has the warmup and drills sections of KPC on day 4, and the ab section split up over other w/o in it. KPC has an additional set of Kicking/punching drills that really fill in the workout. And kick butt! Also, the LG workout...

    flooring

Sure, Just get some of those interlocking rubber mats (I got some at Sam's Club) to put on the floor. They provide traction and just enough cushion.:D

Let's share about our worst neigbors ever!

Can't say I have any neighbors as bad as the one's you gals have talked about, but my present neighbors are no picnic. Note that we live in a neighborhood with a covenant (that isn't inforced, but the houses are mostly pretty nice). First, the neighbor to the right has a house that is on a...

    who knits?

One of the trickiest things about casting on is making sure you have enough yarn after the starting loop. I usually go with 3 x the width of the piece I'm knitting. If you have extra, you can just trim it off later, but if you're short, you have to pull out the cast-on and try again. I was...

    Clothes shopping rant!

I know how you feel. I have trouble finding clothes that are appropriate and that fit - everything seems to be too big or a hip-hugger these days. Have you considered finding a seamstress and having something made? I don't know how much one would charge these days, but when I was a kid my...

Anyone else use a Kegalmaster 2000?

I bought it from the manufacturer (I think). It costs about $100, and they claim it is recommended by doctors. It has helped me. As for the plain brown wrapper - well, it is discretely packaged. The web site is http://urinary-incontinence-sexual-dysfunction-help.com/

Anyone else use a Kegalmaster 2000?

Hi, I've been using a Kegalmaster to strengthen my pelvic floor muscles. I used to leak a lot whenever I tried to run or do any higher impact moves (like jumping jack, etc). It has helped, although I occassionally still have problems with high impact moves (like aerial jacks). Its funny...

Anyone else ever worry about all of the toxins?

I am also concerned about all the toxins in the environment: o I've been buying organic food when I can get them at the grocery store. o Switched to using natural soap (Kirk's castile, available online for about $1.00 a bar at www.kirksnatural.com). o Use environmentaly friendly cleaners...

Timesaver DVD - anyone use it this way?

I used the Timersaver that way for a couple of months, and only started rotating in other workouts when I started getting too used to the routines (i.e. I didn't have to work as hard).

Should I do Legs and Glute with a nasty bruise/knot on ...

I need some advice. I got a nasty bruise/knot on my right thigh Sunday by running into the arm of a seat in a concert hall.;( Walking for the most part is not painful, but touching the bruise/knot sure is. I've been doing cardio (taking it easy) alright, but am wondering if I should go ahead...

OT: Anyone giving up anything for Lent?

I'm pleased to see that many of my fellow Christians are observing Lent and taking it seriously. I am a Catholic Christian myself, born and raised, and remain so because I feel this tradition is the best path for me to God. I myself am giving up ice cream and alcohol. They're bad for me...

OT: Anyone giving up anything for Lent?

Nothing to do with Lent, but perhaps it would help if you made sure you had plenty of healthy snacks with you so you wouldn't be tempted to each junk food.:)

Difference between the original club steps ?

I saw a couple of the purple risers on ebay yesterday with a current price of less than $3.00. I was tempted, but my step is the gray/black combo, and I wanted any risers I bought to match.

    PC versus Mac question

That is a point. To get a Mac that's upgradable, you have to go with the super-duper Power Mac, which is pretty expensive. But, the Macs do come with a s/w sweet (iLife) that's pretty useful - image organizing, music organizing, and video and DVD editing. There're not perfect, my DH gets...
