Any tentative date scheduled for the release of STS???

RE: Any tentative date scheduled for the release of STS... Just because one gets a great price for preordering doesn't mean one should be lambasted in the forum area for merely asking a question. It is just a question- it seems as if people on here get offended on Cathe's behalf if someone asks...

    Hardest leg workout?

By the way, if you are going for over all leg strength, then you might like Slow and Heavy Legs!!;)

    Hardest leg workout?

Hi, I don't know what DVDS you have, but I like "Legs and Glutes" and "Leaner legs". For a real burn, do either one of those workouts and tack on the stability ball section of PLB afterwards. Or,Butts and Guts "overall legs" premix is quite good too! The "squeeze" dvd (you can search more...

TLT - Strength in Movement -

Strength in Movement is a great workout, but my favorite TLT workout is Endurance for Movement. It works the back very nicely, as well as the legs. I didn't find the chest work all that challenging, but I love how the other body parts are worked so effectively that I do not mind! Give that one a...

    overtrained back?

If you are going for a leaner back, then I would suggest working your back out(from all angles) twice a week with high reps. If you want more of a heavily muscled look, then once per week, really hard and heavy, should do the trick! Hope this helps and good luck! Starla

    overtrained back?

Just thought I'd chime in as well: How often do you run? Running usually leans out the back(lats) and makes if difficult to develop large lat muscles. However, if you are doing low reps with heavy weights, you could be "filling out" your lats with increased muscle. This isn't necessarily a bad...

    Horrible, Extreme, Debilitating PMS??????

RE: Janice...so sorry you're feeling so YUCKY!!!!!!!!!!! I have awful PMS and have studied and read up on everything you can think of to try and alleviate and manage this awful nightmarish time. (Mine also lasts 2 entire weeks!). Calcium supplementation has been proven in several studies to...

    Rocky #752

---"The whole idea of a 60-year-old (no matter how great a shape he is in) fighting a 20- or 30-something opponent is rather ridiculous, but that's what suspension of disbelief is for."--- For the most part, people go to the movies to escape reality and be entertained. A large percentage...

Movies that made you cry the most...

Does anyone remember the movie "Mask" with Cher in it? It's about a boy named Rocky who has a disfigured face from a rare disease. I always cry in this one. Also, I know its a movie for teens/younger viewers, but the movie "A Walk to Remember" (with Mandy Moore) also makes me cryyyyyy! In...

    Get Ripped 1000

I like this workout, except I do not think it works the back effectively at all. The back is such a complex muscle group and I find it odd that she would only pick one exercise that specifically targets it. She also does not offer challenging work for the triceps and again only hits them from...

    Jillian Michaels Workouts

I have the maximize set and the cardio kickbox dvd. I, too, don't like how she divides "front side/backside" either. I would rather have her divide upper and lower body, but I understand her reasoning for doing this (the heart has to work harder to shunt blood back and forth from upper to lower...

Patrick Goudeau- Body Design! Anyone else love it?

Mine is 18 pounds ( but I am hoping to get a 25 pound one for the next time), but I would start out with a 15 lb one if you are not used to doing workouts with the body bar. I was skeptical about getting this workout also, because I had heard he was too "dancy" in some of his workouts. This...

Patrick Goudeau- Body Design! Anyone else love it?

Most so called "advanced" workouts are too easy for me, but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with this workout! It is a total body workout and all you use is a step and body bar (just make sure you use a heavy enough body bar for a real burn). I didn't think you could get a good workout...

Trying to Fit Yoga In - Friday Nov 10

Hey, not sure who mentioned being a little intimidated by Shiva Rea's Yoga Shakti tape, but I love her! I just did her Solar FLow 2 earlier, and felt very good afterwards. She has many different programs within the DVD, and if you love bending and twisting, then you can choose the "lunar flow"...

Trying to Fit In Yoga Check In for Sat Nov 4

HI! I did Baron Baptist Power Yoga Level 2 today. It was very nice. There is a standing and floor backbending sequence which feels so gooood. It is very challenging as you have to stand on your tiptoes and squat down while leaning back and holding abdominal locks ect. I felt stronger and more...

Anyone Here Interested in Starting a Yoga Checkin with Me?

RE: Anyone Here Interested in Starting a Yoga Checkin w... Wow- thanks I am going to look that up! I love discovering new yoga tapes. I, too, like doing yoga as a "real workout" and not just a "recovery" day. I find it builds upper body strength in a much different way, and I love seeing the...

Anyone Here Interested in Starting a Yoga Checkin with Me?

RE: Anyone Here Interested in Starting a Yoga Checkin w... I love astanga (power) yoga. I love Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, and especially Beryl Bender Birch's dvd called "The Practice". I,too, liked doing Steve Ross on Oxygen until our cable lineup changed and we no longer get that channel. I...

Another Suggestion:Very high rep, lighter weight workout

PH has a totally different feel than Jari's Slim and Lean and Ripped to the Core. PLus, I would still like a newer, updated workout with more reps and rep speed manipulations/pulses using lighter than normal weights. A change of pace is always good!
