    I agree Kathryn. Plus, those protein bars are often filled with "yucky stuff" that really isn't worth the extra protein.

    Good advice, Kathryn. Before using Slow and Heavy yesterday for the first time, I watched the tape and wrote down what weights I anticipated using. It made the workout go much more smoothly.

    Yes. My Dad teases me sometimes for all of the money I spend on exercise equipment. I have no problem spending the money because I can't think of one thing yet that I have bought that I regretted. I have never gone for the latest workout craze or trend or newest shoes, apparel, etc...

    ? for those who buy and keep books

    I take the jackets off of the books as I am reading them and then either one of two things happens: 1) My cats tear them up or, 2) they get accidentally thrown away. This used to bother me, but there is no point in keeping them so now I just throw them away (unless I really like the art work).

    Overall Best Protein Powders...

    I researched the Any Whey and it looks great! No extra sugar or other additives! I also checked out Jay Robb's protein powders and they look really great as well. I will probably try both. One question...is whey protein better than soy protein?

    Okay everyone...what is the best overall protein powder you have tried? That includes amount of protein per serving, taste, cost, nutrition, etc. I have only tried Nutiva Hemp (awful taste, but love that it's natural) and I don't want to stick to just one type/brand. Thanks for the input! :-)
