A good pregnancy (and maybe postnatal shape-up) workout!

AMEN! The preggo workouts just plain stink. I've found that I can usually modify Cathe's workouts to suit pregnancy, but a true Cathe-style pregnancy workout would be awesome!

How did you incorporate weights with your running!!

This IS a great question! I struggle with this, as well. My runner's body wants more carbs, but carbs keep me from looking my leanest and showing off what Cathe has done for me with routines like Slow and Heavy.

    Cardio Step Challenge....

Cardio Step Challenge was my first Cathe video. :) It's what got me hooked on your workouts, so it has a special place in my heart.

weight train and cardio same day??

I do this all the time and not just on weekends as the other posters have said. I run, so the days when I run I don't do weights. On my days "off" from running, I do legs one day, usually Gym Style Legs or something comparable, and then 30 minutes on the elliptical. The next "off" day I'll do...

    TRAVEL WORKOUT

That would be awesome!!! I'm traveling next week and trying to figure out which Cathe workouts I can do in the hotel without equipment. :)

    New to Cathe

Welcome to the wonderful world of Cathe! I don't really follow any of the recommended rotations. I have almost all of Cathe's workouts (it's an addiction, I swear) and I rotate them with my running. I also substitute in the elliptical machine here and there. Your rotation seems like a good...

    Do I really need it?

I agree. Power Hour is worth the money because you get three workouts in one. MIS and Body Max aren't my favorite, but I still do them. I'm in that camp of needing to own everything Cathe ever produced. :)

    Desperatly need a running/Cathe rotation

Colleen, as someone who runs 7 miles three to four times a week, I'd be happy to give you a breakdown of my routine. It seems to work well for me. I change it up as the seasons change; more Cathe in the winter when it's cold, more running in the summer. One note -- you need to make sure as you...

    A Treat For You Cathe!

If you live in the Midwest (like me) Devil Dogs are the same as Hostess cakes. All good...I mean bad...stuff. :)

    Which DVDs to buy?

Hi, Wendy -- I'm not Cathe, but I can offer some advice as a fellow runner. I run 6 to 7 miles four times a week. I would recommend alternating some of Cathe's lower impact workouts on the days when you don't run, combined with strength training. (I also own an elliptical machine, and do that as...

Will there be a Boot Camp 2?

Hi, Cathe -- Now that you are on the road to recovery I'm wondering if you've thought about what new DVDs will come after this next round. (I'm really looking forward to those, by the way) Might I suggest Boot Camp 2? That workout kicks my booty every single time. Also, have you thought about...

Just wanted to show Cathe (and everyone)

This is so funny! My three-year-old daughter tries to do everything that Cathe does, too. In fact, she gets mad at me because I won't "share" the Step while I'm working out!! :)

    The Comeback Kid Update 4/21/06

Cathe, this is such great news. I know I and many others consider you a "friend" even though we don't know you, because you're with us every day on the TV screen! And just like we would with a real friend, we worry about you and think about you. It's so wonderful to hear that you're making a...

Question about weight gain when getting of birth control pill

Hi -- the same thing happened to me when I went off the pill to conceive my daughter (she'll be three in May) and now it's happening again as we are trying for another baby. I don't think it's the pill necessarily but more our bodies adjusting to the shift in hormones. I'm not an expert, but...

    Update - 4-13-06

Cathe, I am so glad to hear that you finally got some resolution to your pain. All the best for a speedy recovery!

Boot Camp Xtreme and other ideas

Love this idea. I was going to suggest Boot Camp 2, but Boot Camp Xtreme sounds good to me!

    First Blast of IMAX 3

I also think the first blast is one of the most difficult. Honestly, I hardly ever do all of the fast-feet parts. I do lunges or something similar to keep my HR up, but the fast feet are often too much for me.

    bootcamp or terminator dvd

I have both and I love both. Terminator is just AWESOME. I think it's my favorite Cathe DVD. And two of the sections don't use Boot Camp. Boot Camp also kicks my a-- every single time I do it. It's well worth the money. If I had to choose between the two, though, I'd choose Boot Camp.

    Rhythmic Step

It's awesome, but be prepared to do it many times before getting the choreography down. I've been doing Cathe's workouts for years and this was one of the toughest for me to learn. But it's worth the time and effort invested!
