    I've also done Beachbody workouts. Cathe will push you!!! I've done STS 4 rounds now and LOVE it. I have to admit before Cathe, all I did was Beachbody - now, Beachbody is in my drawer and I rarely use them. Cathe will get you super fit and I'm sure you will LOVE it!!!

    dumbbell vs barbell

    I do not have a barbell at home so I do all my STS workouts with dumbbells. I am on my 4th round of STS and have had amazing results - 45 pound weight loss in a year and still counting. Cathe does say that you can use dumbbells to substitute.

    I too have bad knees. I do what I can but I certainly can't get as far down as Cathe or anyone else on the videos. I know my knees and what they can tolerate so I know I can push only so far. It would be nice to have some good modifications though! Some of us are newer to exercising! Thanks!!!
