In Praise of Lift Move & Restore

    Amazing, Lannette! Wonderful to hear!

    Leg Day?

I don't know whether you specifically need resistance training for your lower body, given everything you're doing. However, if you feel you need to be doing it, perhaps you can just sprinkle it in in small batches, instead of a full-on "leg day." All of Cathe's workouts have express versions - I...

    STS 2.0 / Lift, Move & Restore 2-Month Rotation

I'm half-way through this rotation, and thrilled to say it's making a difference! I feel stronger (I'm lifting heavier, too), I have improved mobility, and my core/hips/glutes are feeling overall better - more balanced and alive, if that makes any sense. I haven't lost weight, but I'm feeling...

Are icons in the workout manager?

Woweee! My January now looks so pretty!! Thank you so much for getting the LMR icons uploaded into the Workout Manager! It may be a small thing, but it's very motivating to look at the calendar and see how much sweat I've put into each month.

    STS 2.0 / Lift, Move & Restore 2-Month Rotation

I completely agree! Remember when the Hardcore Series was released and there were so many complaints about the music being too quiet relative to Cathe’s voice? Music can add so much to a workout, and HC series has some of the best.

Are icons in the workout manager?

Bumping up this question, as it's nearly the end of January and the icons are not yet appearing in the calendar (for me, at least). Is there something I need to be doing, or are we still waiting for an update to the calendar?

    STS 2.0 / Lift, Move & Restore 2-Month Rotation

I love choreographed cardio, especially when it syncs so well with music. The fun factor is so much higher for me, than with repetitive drill cardio. I like the way it absorbs my full attention, and when you're in the flow of it you feel like you're on a ride. Her finished products on her step...

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

I finished the third week of the LMR+LIC rotation today, with Functional Lower Body. I like this one so much! It feels so effective without an endless number of reps and pulses to get the job done. My heart rate gets up there, I sweat, and I feel good when I'm finished. Today Cathe shared a 2...

    STS 2.0 / Lift, Move & Restore 2-Month Rotation

I was thrilled to see this in the email - thank you for posting it here! I’m a week away from finishing the 1 month LMR + Low Impact Cardio rotation in the LMR user guide, then I’ll dive into this one. Anyone else? I like my intermediate steady state cardio, so I’ll add in 30 minutes of cardio...

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Functional Upper Body was on the rotation for today. I went higher again in weight, over the last time, and I'm reaching the point where I feel like I'm putting in an effective level of effort. My upper body feels a bit fatigued, as well. I think this is where I should be working, with these...

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Today was a rest day on the LMR+LIC rotation, so I decided to give LMR Mobility Fusion a go. I love how all of Cathe's mobility routines make me feel, and was disappointed to see that Mobility Fusion isn't anywhere in this rotation. My goodness, that's a fantastic routine! For me it felt like 40...

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Functional Core Fusion - this is the core workout for me! Fantastic! I'm surprised at how long she keeps us in the reverse plank with our feet on the ball, but I guess that's an area I need to work on.

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Well, that was fun! Today on the rotation was a 30 minute low impact HIIT, and not what I wanted to do at all. So I used the workout blender and made up a cardio that wound up being a blast: Cardio Party (CP) warm up, through to the end of Blast #1; Step Boss Intermediate Step (SBIS) combo 1...

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Today on the rotation was LMR Functional Total Body. I went at least one increment higher than Cathe in all of the weighted exercises and feel like I found the right spot for me. My heart rate was up for the whole routine, I had to concentrate to maintain good form, and I'm quite sweaty. But I...

Yes, exactly! I'm really appreciating all of the variety in this series. My body is enjoying all of it!

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Today was the first time I tried Functional Pilates Fusion, and I loved it! I haven't explored pilates very much, so I wasn't sure what to expect from this routine. I will absolutely do this one again!

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Yesterday wound up being pretty much a rest day. I did some very relaxing yoga before bed, but that could hardly be considered a workout. Today on the rotation was Cardio Party, but I chose Rev'd Up Rumble instead. I love this routine so much. The music is great and coordinates extremely well...

LMR: Low Impact Cardio 1-month rotation for January 2025

Yesterday was Day 12 of the rotation: Functional Lower Body. Again, I went one increment higher than Cathe for the whole routine. That required me to work a bit harder, and it felt like a good level. This is my favourite workout of the whole series, so far. Today is supposed to be a rest day...
