    Carnival v. Royal Caribbean...with kids?

Thanks, everyone, for sharing all your opinions. I'm leaning more towards RC, but only because I like their itinerary better than Carnival's. My next dilemma, though, is how many days at sea do I want? I think at least one (Carnival actually has a trip that is a different port every day)...

    What's so bad about dairy?

ditto what Carola said...very well put! My 3yo DD is allergic to dairy and I've recently decided to eliminate it totally from my diet as well...if she can't have it, neither can I. Amazingly, my acne-prone skin has cleared up, my gassy/bloated stomach has disappeared and I've lost three...

I'm looking into planning a cruise vacation with my DH and kids ages 12, 9 and 4. Is one line more "kid friendly" than the other? TIA!

is there a perfect workout balance?

The past two weeks have been very humbling for me. Last Monday, did ME for the first time in a long time and was begging for mercy at the end...what's with all the leg presses on the six-riser step? Then that same week did MM...and was cursing at the end. This week pulled out Boot...

Thanks, Amy! I have an aunt who was a Spanish major in college and taught high school Spanish. She took her first Spanish class in high school! Definitely agree with you about the early exposure...I really want my kids to learn the language!

    teaching kids Spanish

Does anyone know of a CD or DVD that teaches children Spanish? My kids have Spanish in school but it isn't enough for them to really learn the language. I'd like to find something that I can put on when we're in the car, even if it's background noise, just to reinforce it a little. My 3 yo...

Melissa, Let us know your final decision...you have me drooling over LV! It's been a long time since I had one and my last bag was used daily for almost 10 years. I'm trying to convince my DH to buy me one for my birthday/Christmas gift this year! Good luck deciding!

    Zuzana Light

Thanks for the info, Aggie! I just finished another one - not sure of the name, but it was jump squats, hip extensions, bulgarian squats and mountain climbers x 4 rounds - and I didn't know if I was going to make it to the end! The intensity was crazy, and I've been doing Cathe for years...

Never heard of this woman until I read A-Jock's post about the squat thrust and now I'm hooked. She's incredibly fit! Just wondering if anyone here incorporates her workouts on a regular basis and how to do so. Do you do a different one every day, alternate days with cardio? I don't see any...

    Workouts with squat-thrust cardio drills?

Clarissa, I just tried the PCW today for the first time and those Burpees just about killed me. :o I loved getting a good workout in in a short amount of time, and boy, was I feeling it at the end. They have to get easier, right???

    LOVING MY VITAMIX!

It was the TSV about two weeks ago. I think it's on waitlist only now, and isn't offered on the 4 (or 5 easy pays.) I've been eyeing the Vitamix for a long while now and when I saw the Easy Pay, I was sold. It is FANTASTIC!!! I've only used it so far for smoothies...my entire family...
