?Gym Styles -or- Slow & Heavy?

JMO, but I'd get both, but I'd definitely concentrate on the S&H first. You will burn more calories with S&H, since building muscle increases your metabolism. Also, since you are pear-shaped, you really do want to bulk up in your upper body a bit, so that you attain a better proportion. JMO...

Core work? oh brother! *grunting w/disgust* Any helpful tips for me?? r/o

Well, I've discovered yet another area that my fit "looking" physique is lacking in: Core strength. x( How is it that I can appear to be so "fit", yet in reality, I seem not to be? First, I found that I lacked any endurance what-so-ever (Step is really helping me out there now!), and now I...

In what workout do you think Cathe looks best?

Cathe's absolutely a knock-out! :) I love how incredibly buff/cut she is in the Hardcore Series. She inspires me to press on harder and harder, in hopes of one day reaching that stage of development. I favor the super lean/hard cut look, though. :) I also really love how gorgeous she looks in...

What do you wear to work out?

KOS-USA yoga pant or their karate kick pant (if I'm in a loose/comfy, but stylish pant mood. lol) I always wear a sleeveless tank (either KOS or even just an Old Navy tank) over a sports bra, in winter. In summer, I usually just wear a sports bra. I do make "outfits" though, regardless of...

I've been doing both the Pure Strength and Slow & Heavy dvds, in 3-4 wk rotations, for a few mos now. I've increased muscle mass in all areas, except for my BACK. In back, I've actually seemed to decrease in lat size. ? I used to do weight work on my own, with a combo of free wts and station...

Can the Original Club Step be used on an incline?? r/o

for incline presses? or...will that not work too well? I'm trying to decide on whether to buy the Original Club Step (I've been using the smaller Studio Step), or to rather spend double the $$$$ on that Super Step Bench System, that Cathe uses in the Slow & Heavy series. What would be the...

thanks so much for all that info! I truly appreciate your advice. :) I am a mesomorph, I think? I'm pretty well balanced "naturally" (lean/lanky, wide shoulders, balanced to slightly narrow hips, defined waist, long legs). And I do build muscle very very very easily, even with light-med wts...

    "Travel Workout"

RE: I really wish Cathe would consider this idea about a Travel Workout DVD. The suggestions listed above are great...except, I don't think the cardio (jumping, etc) is practical for a hotel setting. ? At least, I know I'd be super p*ssed off if someone on the floor above me was doing KPC. :/...
