    Push ups- knees or no knees?

    i do as many as i can on toes then switch to knees using pushup bars that i bought at Target-i think $10. much better effect than doing knee push ups with out bars. after p90x i can do 30+ because of doing pushups and pullups alternating so u get a short break. laura

    Cathe & P90X: Cathe is pretty X-treme too!!!

    i got better results in core and upper body with p90x than cathe. i lost inches in my waist and can do ALOT more pushups. coresynergistics is an excellent workout and yogax is awesome too for working the core.i use cathe for aerobics and legs mostly. laura

    i also consider that or other people. sometimes one area seems warmer than the other. i next time i will bring a ruler to figure out the length of the pool. laura

    what do you think of when swimming laps?

    can any one tell me how many feet it is swimming one length in a pool at a gym? are they all the same? i swim 60 lengths=30 laps setting goals makes me want to go back to see if i can beat it. laura

    i tried the water aerobics twice and found it kinda boring and didnt get any doms from it. they only used noodles for equipment. at first i thought swimming was boring until i got better at it. i guess one of my goals would be able to swim 70+ laps before i hit 40! laura

    i swam tonight-best time to go cause few (barely any)swimmers. the pool only has 3 lanes but i always find a spot by myself. 30 laps 1111..... 2222..... 3333..... 4444.... 5555.... short stretch,drink water,and continue on drinking every 5 laps my legs feel weak! i had a goal of 20 laps...

    yes,surgery in may on my foot. after 6 weeks of crutches,2 weeks with boot i have been walking for 2 months. i think i am going to do p90x instead because of the small amount of cardio or do freestyle. after work my quads and outer thighs burn so i am not doing any cardio on the days i work...
