Can bulkier legs be leaned out after years of wieght training?

It's easy for me to gain both muscle AND fat. I recently changed my lower body routine. I used to do heavy weights with cardio like step and kickboxing. A few months ago I dropped the heavy weights on the lower body (still do moderately heavy on the upper) and replaced some of the cardio...

    Help with loose leaf tea

I'm a tea drinker for years and years. I find loose tea at Whole Foods (bags as well). There are also specialty stores like Teavana, or Republic of Tea online. If you have a Teavana or something, they usually have tastings so you can try before you buy. As far as multi-cups. You can buy...

    I REALLY don't like GWF's new software!

This is EXACTLY what I received weeks ago from my inquiry. I responded the same as you - my difference was in the 12%+ range. Totally not acceptable. I've not heard from them since. :(

    I REALLY don't like GWF's new software!

Nope. no resolution. No contact from customer support. I WISH my difference was only the 20 calories or so. Mine is still 200+ calories difference. This is NOT an acceptable difference in my opinion. I've stopped recommending the device to others. :(

    Favorite Wii Games

I had never bought any game system before. I bought the Wii specifically for Rock Band/Guitar Hero World Tour. LOVE THEM! We also love the sports games. The Sports Resort uses the new controller add-on (comes with the game) that is a big improvement on accuracy. My son (17yo) loves the...

    I REALLY don't like GWF's new software!

I'm also diasppointed with the new 'upgrade' morningstar. :( My display (same as always) is now about 15-20% HIGHER than the online. It used to be in the <5% variance range. But like you my differences are 200+ calories/day. I've also asked customer service and I just got a form...

    Teenage Boys and Xmas

I live with my 17yo and he would probably return anything I would buy:confused: He's very picky. He likes to pick out his own things. Add in that all the relatives live 2500 miles away... gift cards/checks are very, very welcome

    GoWear Fit vs FitBit

I have a GWF (go Wear Fit) and I love it. However you are correct in that you need the subscription to use it. (It can hold about 14 days of data). That bothers me as well. So I'm on the waiting list for the fitbit. The fitbit is not immediately available for new orders. It just...

    Go Wear Fit!

Heather - I can't comment on IMAX2. But when I do CC8 I burn in the 600 calorie range. I have a 70min premix (from morningstar I think) that I can get in the 700 calorie range. CC is the highest 'straight' calorie burn for me. My intensity is probably less than yours. I run/walk on mostly...

    Anyone complete STS over 50?

No heavy lifting after 50? Good thing no one told me ... or any of the other posters :p I prefer lifting to cardio and have for many years. I DO cardio. But I don't have to like it. I love the empowerment I get from heavy lifting. And do keep in mind (as already mentioned)...

    early morning to evening workouts

I work 10hr shifts so it takes some persistance and creativity for me. I only have one teenage son at home so he's in charge of his own meals. Mostly ;) I do get him food that's easy to prepare or reheat. And remind him when I get home. He usually has a lot of homework so that keeps him...

    Netflix users - question

I do a couple of things - use an RSS feed from other sites (like Blockbuster). Then Search in Netflix and add from that search - search for a newly released movie (ad for theater or DVD) that I think I might like to see once released. Then add into the queue I also think Netflix is...

    Go Wear Fit!

I've had my GWF since May. I wear it almost constantly. It really opened my eyes to my calorie burn. I've tracked my food for quite awhile so I knew what that was. This was my missing link. I definitely burn more calories with cardio. My highest burn is with a cardio coach workout vs a...

    Anyone have a Kindle?

I love, love my library card. Love physical books. I also love my Sony e-reader. I go back and forth between physical books and my e-reader. When I did my research I chose the Sony for a few reasons, including multiple supported formats. I can use the digital libraries and 'check out'...

    Awesome Toilet

Loved the Smoker's Lounge  I don't think I'd have a problem with the mirror toilet. Probably conditioning from my childhood (a loooong time ago). We took long car trips. Not always a rest area. My stepfather would pull over on the side of the road. Open the doors. Pee in between...

Should I ask for Go Wear Fit or Body Bugg for Christmas???

I can only speak to the GWF. But when I did my research this made the most sense to me. First I LOVE my GWF. I wish it was independent instead of requiring the monthly fee and download. But still - don't try to pull it off my arm :p Love the graphs. They speak to my techno-geek heart :p...
