    The Dairy Culprit...

Living in Vermont, I have a huge selection of milk that does not have added hormones. I drink skim milk and eat yougurt and cottage cheese and do not suffer from acne. Interesting how foods affect people differently. Take Splenda for instance...some people love the stuff but it makes me so...

What kind of dog(s) do you have?

Congratulations with your new puppy!!! I also recommend obedience training. Not only is it great to have a dog that listens but it's a great way to get your puppy socialized and used to other people and other dogs. I have two 7 month old St. Bernard puppies. (I have had two other puppies...

No sweets, salt, more water check-in - July 29, 2005

Hi Ladies, So far the day is going well, except for the water. I don't know why it's so hard lately to get this water down. During the winter months I have no problem. Maybe since it's so dry then...I don't know. (I'm not a rocket scientist ya know.;-) ) Have a great day all...

Runners - feeling sick, help w/ training, please.

I agree with the other posters; take it easy. I'm also training for a 1/2 marathon and went and did 9 miles while recovering from a cold and all I did was feel more worn out and then the rest of my week was a washx( . I definately should have skipped it or just walked instead. Michelle

    How do you run?

    Anyone have St. Bernards?

LOL Laura. So far the drool hasn't been too bad. Or maybe I'm just used to it. We had an English Mastiff who didn't drool, but everytime she drank...well let's just say if you didn't wipe her jowls quick enough and she shook her head; the stuff went a flying!!!! Michelle

    Anyone have St. Bernards?

We have two 7 month old Saints, a boy and a girl. They are so adorable; a handful but adorable. (And they are both fixed so we won't be adding to the family!!) Just wondering if anyone else has these big beautiful dogs.:-) Michelle
